Coalition of Seven State Attorneys General Has Been Formed to Silence Climate Change Critics

Now is 1984! “The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it.” - George Orwell

The amazing thing about elitist scams are how under the guise of social justice they make the elite richer and more powerful. Socialism historically is predicated on a group of elitists building a society that reduces all of its citizens to a common standard of living. The resulting society does not value the individual, their rights or their achievements. Currently the global and U.S. elite are pushing their climate change/green agenda with the threat of a global catastrophe. With this as their launching pad they have set in motion hundreds of laws and regulations, both domestically and through the U.N. designed to drive the world toward some form of “global governance” all while making themselves richer and more powerful in the process. -

Al Gore, Democratic State Attorneys Generals Out to Silence Climate Change Dissenters

May 30, 2016

NEWSMAX - In what has to be among the sharpest salvos fired in modern times against free speech and freedom of expression, a coalition of seven state attorneys general has been formed to silence climate change critics.

One of those attorneys general filed a subpoena in April to obtain a decade of research and records from a pro-freedom market think tank that questions the findings of global warming advocates.

Last week, the case against the Washington-based Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) took a new direction when Attorney General Claude Walker of the U.S. Virgin Islands suddenly announced he was withdrawing the subpoena action he filed in the District of Columbia.

But no one at CEI thinks that the assault on them and their arguments against man-made global warming is over — not by a long shot.

Noting that the original subpoena against his group that was filed in the Virgin Islands remains, CEI General Counsel Sam Kazman told reporters that Walker and his fellow attorneys general "apparently think they can continue their unconstitutional intimidation campaign against anyone that challenges their view of climate change."

This latest exchange between CEI and its "legal eagle" antagonists is the culmination of actions that began in April with the launching of the new "Attorneys General United for Clean Power."

"We stand ready to defend the next president's climate change agenda, and vow to fight any efforts to roll-back the meaningful progress we've made over the past eight years," said New York' Attorney General Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

As if to underscore that they mean business when it comes to climate change, Schneiderman and the new attorneys' general group were flanked by another Democrat who has perhaps done more than anyone else to make the issue part of the national political dialogue: Al Gore.

The former vice president and Oscar-winning producer of the pro-climate change film "An Inconvenient Truth," is the country's leading advocate for green projects to mitigate carbon emissions.

Part of the agenda of Gore, Schneiderman, Walker and company was the subpoena against the 20-year-old CEI, which is one of the most respected conservative think tanks in Washington and premier voices for the view that there is no persuasive evidence that the earth faces any severe threat to it.

"And part of the agenda of those who hold the opposite view is to use so-called law enforcement to shut down debate on the issue," CEI's Kazman told Newsmax.

Hence, he noted, "the pursuit of records and documents that will be incredibly time-consuming for us.  So far, we've spent tens of thousands in attorneys' fees just dealing with this action.

But it has cost us dearly in the Kazman and others at CEI made clear their feeling that prolonged legal action and the resulting publicity will possibly drive away contributors to the organization.

But, Kazman quickly added, "we have always taken free market positions and actions without regard to what contributors think."

He recalled how CEI opposed the automobile company bailout in 2009 despite have financial backers in the auto industry. In addition, said Kazman, "We opposed the big tobacco settlement.

"Contributors come and go. Issues and the question of which position is right and which is wrong are most important to us."

Kazman also believes that the goal of the attorneys general and climate change advocates in pursuing legal action is to discourage scientists and leaders in the science community from speaking out by questioning evidence of man made global warming.

Whatever the cost to those who question climate change and no matter how long it takes to quash the actions of the attorneys general, Kazman believes His group will emerge triumphant in the end.

In his words, "Al Gore's 'inconvenient truth' has run into an inconvenient Amendment — the First one.'"

I agree that Democrats, liberism and their "Progressive" movement present their own brand of intolerance. Theirs, is a long term campaign to create an all dependent majority, willing to stand in line for the next federal "freebee", prepared to pay crushing taxes to maintain an elite body of government delighted to allow small scraps to fall from their oppulent table, which is sieved through by a smokestack of even more governing bodies, leaving us with far less than what we could have provided for ourselves.

A shorter translation would read: we have become slaves to our government. We get less than we produce and are no better for it.

Our wilful acceptance of this type of future can not only be supported by the Hilaryzombies (one word) continuing support for Obama's treachery, but also for the fanatic "useful idiots" (Stalin's term) which have gorged themselves on Sander's extremely honest and transparent fairytale of the "benefits" of a Socialistic Oligarchy.

CAN Trump re-ballast the Ship of State? CAN he stop a ship that is already foundering? I don't know if its POSSIBLE to right a foundering ship that is already UNSALVAGABLE, by definition. Obama success is an exploitation of years of insidious, consistent Democratic ground work. ANY actions are going to meet a great deal of political resistance simply because Congress has enriched themselves through the many years of lucrative corruption.

US politics run on the almighty dollar...be it "(re-) election war chests, influence peddling, etc. Bernie Sanders' Campaign proved that huge "small" donations can compete against the Super-PAC and million dollar (plus) corporate donors.

America turned a "blind eye" to the fact that Obama, Clinton, and Sanders were all three using the same playbook: A now deceased author and "Community Advocate" by the name of Saul Alinsky, published a book titled "RULES FOR RADICALS". It was a powerful influence on Obama, who cites Alinsky many times in the books Obama wrote. Hilary chose to defend Alinsky's tenants in her Dissertation in her final year in college. And Sanders...just wouldn't be the independent "Democcratic Socialist" without Alinsky as a good socialist model.

Alinsky proposed a "eight step model" which when enacted, could establish a Socialist Oligarchy out of any government, right under the nose of the governed. Once the government controlled the following: Socialism could be created and maintained: First, must come government controlled Health Care. After that, control the media, education and free speech, disarm the public, maximize national debt, raise personal taxation to chocking level, and raise the number of people dependent on Welfare. Naturally, politicians profit handsomely, and the only solution to improve one's quality of life, is to become part of the problem.

Obama's administration is credited with 20, 462 new "reforms" (to date...and that's no typo!). How many of those do you imagine enforced...and re-enforced again and again, the tenants of Saul Alinsky? Certainly, for all the "secretive" efforts characterizing the Obama Administration, he's been blatant on many of many of Alinsky's tenants that have worked their way into domestic policy and the law books...or he has tried, at the very least: the ACA, Gun Control, high personal taxes, high national, debt...there's NOT a lick of coincidence here.

One threat that has been repeated by unreliable sources has Trump intending to repeal/reverse all of Obama's actions. There is no possible way to undue everything and and its a ridiculous smear action at best.

What WOULD work is using Alinsky's tenants to filter out those very reforms which were designed to force Socialism upon us. It'd be a filter, and there is justice in using as it in that role.

Climate change is a fraud plain and simple

Executives of the United Nations Climate Policy have already admitted climate science is a fraud. UN climate officials Ottmar Edenhofer, Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary, and Naomi Klein are on public record admitting:

First, the purpose of Climate Policy is to make corrupt politicians, despots, pseudo-scientist, and their friends infinitely wealthy at the expense of the middle class taxpayers in capitalist countries at a rate of $138.2 billion each year, destroying the middle class.

And, second, to deprive Capitalist countries of fossil fuel necessary for growing private sector business, GDP and jobs, destroying Capitalist countries.

Climate Change Policy serves as a transmission belt changing the governance of Capitalist nations over to Communist governance.

The American neo-Marxist Left is trying to silence the opposition, which is their usual political strategy. Obama’s Attorney General, Comrade Loretta Lynch, is considering indicting anyone one that disagrees with “man-made” global warming fraud.

There should be a Special Prosecutor assigned to investigate Obama, Lynch, Democrats in Congress and on the Supreme Court, and all who support this pseudo-science, they should be indicted for fraud, tried, and if convicted, given appropriate jail terms, just like any of us who would violate federal law.

Include Gore and the Democrat Attorney Generals. While you are at it, charge them with violating the first Amendment...the F---ing Communists.

And most of the "climate scientists " with the IPCC are not scientists at all, but government bureaucrats. The Doran and Zimmerman "study" that postulated a "97% consensus" figure is a total falsehood. Only 1.6% of those surveyed identified as climate scientists. And in the "study" by Cook, an Australia-based blogger, only 0.3% of the 11,944 abstracts surveyed, or 1% of those expressing an opinion, endorsed the notion that global warming was manmade and dangerous. Global warming alarmism is a dangerous and costly myth.

Congratulations! You just figured out that people other than climatologists have views on AGW??
And I suppose that makes him less credible than Gore or Obama?
Not all of them are climatologists, I agree. Nor are all the people on the side supporting AGW.
Just because they aren't professional climatologists doesn't make them any less scientists, or any less capable of utilizing the scientific method.

There are only around 18,000 credentialed climatologists world-wide, and hundreds of thousands of other scientists doing 'climate change' research.

America has to come to grips that liberals will use dis-information or misformation to influence the public.

Truth avoidance/manipulation is the Democratic Party's increasingly perferred form of communication, and when that fails, Democrats immediately resort to suppression of speach to hide or spin the truth.

When exposed to the light of truth, they scatter like cockroaches.

American's Democratic Party has become fanatical in it disrespect for Constitutional rights! Their "useful idiots" are becoming an army of socialist zombies who are above the law. "Influencing" State AGs to adopt Stalinist tactics of supression of our Freedom of Speech is the very application that Hillary has advocated when she wants to stop those who criticize her.

Truth is not a question of whether a politician finds it "inconveniant" or not...and defying the First Ammendment is the fast track to tyranny.

Gore works for those who PROFIT considerably by spinning the truth about climate. If he can deal with a reputation of being untrustworthy like Hillary, that's his concern. When Hillary, Gore, or anybody else advocates the REVERSAL of ANY of the Bill of Rights, they also advocate government tyranny.

The people might have something to say about that.

The the real climate deniers, like Prince Al, cannot possibly risk filing a lawsuit. I can assure you that ExxonMobil cannot wait to be served. The complaint will be dismissed early and ExxonMobil will file for Rule 11 sanctions of the basis of malicious prosecution. It will be a massacre. And there will be no factual dispute.

Many have forgotten that we tried to make it rain in New Mexico and Arizona, but after having spent millions and could not make it rain, we gave up. When we actually try to do something about the climate and fail, what does that tell you?

Finally, did you know that there have been 3 volcanic eruptions in the last 15-20 years that spewed greenhouse gases into the air in amounts equal to 300 years of emissions at the present rate on the earth? That is 900 years worth at the present rate. Did the ice caps melt and drown Manhattan?

Did you know that it is actually getting colder? Why? Because we are going through one of the inconvenient climate cycles that the Earth is so fond of and which have been occurring for a long, long time.

Mojave, Sahara, Gobi, Atacama. Deserts, right? AGW? Nope. I don't think so.

In my life time, the production of fruits and nuts, before hybridization, had to move about 100 miles further south, all across the United States, because of colder Springs and later frosts. Twenty years ago, with new hybrids, production eased back further North, but whole orchards can still be lost, due to that one severe winter in each twenty-five year cycle.

Al Gore and all his Climate Change Nazis are trying to sell the American public an agenda that is bold face wealth redistribution and nothing else. These clowns want to force "green energy" on the world when they in fact, have NO alternative energy that is cheap, abundant and ready to go. By the way, if killing millions of birds through the use of wind and solar is an example of the enviro-fascists responsible stewardship of "mother earth" then we'll just stick with the energy God gave us. It is amazing to us how these power hungry, greedy elitists have managed to dumb down the American people into believing this climate change fairy tale. Baby Boomers has seen weather far worse then today's climate in America and we've seen how much water, and air pollution have been cleaned up in the last 60 years so why punish Americans for something that has been in the clean up stage for over 6 decades??? Follow the money.

I am SO sick of how the Libs have distorted language by the use of the words "progress" (nothing is further from the truth), and Progressive. For some time I have used the term Regressives to describe them. Let all us good Conservatives agree to adopt this new term that is FAR more fitting to a failed ideology that has ZERO to do with the guiding principals on what this nation was founded. Remember....it's not Progressive it's Regressive. Let's bring back true meaning to language....George Orwell's 1984 certainly was prescient. Let us not forget this literary lesson on the ramifications of language manipulation often practiced by the left.

To solve the issue of global warming and to satisfy the demands of environmentalists, I propose creating the Global Organization for Reclamation the Environment (GORE). GORE will be funded by a gross income payroll tax on the American workforce. These funds will be used by GORE for any purpose the organization deems essential. The organization will have total autonomy and will not be required to publish any governing board membership lists or financial reports and will have unlimited power to expand taxing authority as required by the organization. GORE will also have unlimited power to seize public or private property deemed in violation of the organization’s unpublished guidelines. Such seizures are without appeal. The seized property can be disposed of as deemed appropriate by GORE in the pursuit of its purpose and mission. Previous owners of seized property will have a right to re-purchase property from GORE, but any proceeds from the future operation and/or sale of the property will be delivered to GORE in perpetuity. GORE will solve the issue of global warming and satisfy environmental pursuits with these procedures.

Never mind Al Gore's ridiculous movie "An Inconvenient Truth." I've seen the NewsmaxTV documentaries "An Inconsistent Truth," and John Casey's "Dark Winter." These sources alone demonstrate and PROVE that there are scientists on BOTH sides of this question, and so, by definition, the "science" is NOT "settled." The American people are NOT as stupid as that Gruber idiot thought (the guy who lied in order to get Obamacare passed). These global warming freaks need to be shut down!

There is enough oil to supply the world for over 100 years, in the
recent deposits found in the US. If you include worlds deposits of oil,
natural gas, shale oil, and coal, there are 1000's of years worth of
fossil fuels. The release of these fossil fuels would allow CO2 to rise
in the atmosphere and plants would then populate arid regions that now
are complete deserts. Plants need 2 things, CO2 and H2O. Increase the
CO2 and less H2O is required for there propagation. The Sahara desert
was once a vast tropical jungle, and could be again with increased CO2.
Current CO2 levels are 180ppm, plants die at ~150ppm. CO2 levels have
been decreasing for hundreds of thousands of years and the plants are
fighting a losing battle. Coral also removes CO2 from the environment,
tying it up on the oceans floor. Plants form the fossil fuel deposits
and over time the CO2 is tied up in the earths crust. The CO2 from 1
large volcano is more than man has released, all accumulated, forever.
There are an average of 20 volcano's erupting at all times, 1500
potential volcano's, and 500 of them have erupted since records began.
So, since man has industrialized, Mother Nature has emitted 500 times as
much CO2 as man has. That's the science that Gore and his cronies don't
    want you to know.

The best way to win an argument? Kill the voice of your opposition.

Just to be precise, they are claiming that CO2 is a "climate-altering" gas. And they are not singling out CO2, but faulting carbon emissions is all forms, including CO, which is indeed poisonous. Your main point that anthropogenic climate change is unsubstantiated is correct; but mischaracterizing your opponents' position weakens your argument.

I don't go over the edge on either side but using the courts to silence questions does make me skeptical of one side. In his documentary, which is a copy of a slide show Gore had been making money off since 1989, he states that we are all responsible by what we do and what we buy. I see some logic in that, after all you can't buy cars, appliances, food products or any thing else that requires thousands of ships each day that burn 440,000 gallons of fossil fuels to cross the oceans, spewing exhaust and dumping waste into the oceans without some effect whether it be adding carbon to the atmosphere or bleaching coral reefs. The earth's population increased from 1 billion to 7.3 billion since 1900. Each of these people breath in ambient temp. air and exhaust 98.6 degree carbon dioxide. They also require water, food and many other earth supplied basic services or amenities. Back in school, some 60 years ago, I was taught that the earth tilts on it's axis causing changes in weather patterns and later read about the Milankovic Cycles which were the scientific cause of climate change since the earth was formed. They also change many natural events such as volcanic action or intensifying storm activity. They were the reason until man and his money were added to the equation. Just in case I have taken actions such as replacing my furnace with a 98% efficient one, changing every bulb to LED's which use 75% less energy, recycling what I use and setting up a free shopping service for my neighborhood to reduce vehicle usage. These things can't hurt.

65 million years ago the Earth was 5 degrees warmer and there was 5 times the CO2 than today, yet the earth was a lush planet that had rain forests in the South Pole. Life flourished than something cooled it and 95% of all animal species became extinct, Then 15,000 years ago most all north latitude glaciers melted raising the ocean 134 feet. The English Channel flooded making England an island. So man-made global warming experts and wackos, what caused this? Oh, I know the Eskimos had coal fired power plants and the Mammoths drove gas guzzling SUVs. The wackos are scamming for grant money like NASA, Elon Musk and their Mars BS. Global cooling will destroy the planet far more than any warming. There simply isn’t enough fossil fuels left, perhaps 100 years worth, if that.

That should be a simple task. Just have NASA explain why their information and data shows: No temperature increase, the Antarctic with almost 100 billion more tons of ice now, than it did in the 1990's. Then explain why the University of Queensland lied about their climate change information (perhaps it was to keep the $ 50 million annual government grant?) Explain that and then explain why the rich, specially the Bill Gates, etc. get huge tax deductions for paying into this Al "I invented the internet" Gore farce!

No, smart people know the climate is changing, as it has changed so many thousands of times over the last 4.5 billion years. Ice ages, warming, ice age, warming, and so on. The difference in the smart people and the for-profit climate change scare mongers is that smart people know that their Ford Explorer is not the reason.

They also know that using a gallon of fossil fuel to make a gallon of ethanol is not going to fix anything other than the bank accounts of a few corporate farms. Smart people also know that taxing the general public to subsidize those farms is not going to accomplish anything for America or the world.

The real problem is the smart people with evil intent, who get positions of power in government and have as their goal controlling the masses and especially controlling the smart people who know they are lying.

The UK was going to show Inconvenient Truth in all their schools until they where challenge in court by a group challenging this none sense. They won the case in that if they show this movie they then had to show a follow up of 16 corrections to the movie. The UK decided to not show the movie because the corrections totally undermines the whole movie. They are never going to go after a true man made global warming denier because they would lose. You can be sure they will only go after lackeys in order to set a precedent to those who would stomp their hinnies in court with truth. Lackeys like the EPA who see nothing but money coming their way if they lose. Or any of the Rockefeller owned oil companies who would love regulatory induced scarcity to drive oil prices up. How about going after those that know what they are talking about. Like those featured in 'The Great Global Warming Swindle'? Most of which are ex members of the IPPC of the U.N. who just couldn't go alone with this scheme.

Lies become truth when they are taught in the classroom. That's where they are instilled in the collective psych as a belief, immune from the rigors and scrutiny that is the scientific process. Consensus does not exist in the world of science, but it owns the realm of religion.

For decades the concept of mankind as despoiler of the planet has been sold to the young as truth. All references contradictory from the premise have been removed from the textbooks .... and we are seeing the results of government controlled curriculum.

When mind control fails the lie is enforced with the barrel of a gun. The full force of government is brought to bear ..... outlawing the use of reason. Be afraid ..... Be very afraid of government that outlaws dissent ....... because that is tyranny to its core.

Healthcare was a step in the control process, forcing you to participate and if not the IRS comes after you. Sure it is nothing now but wait. What we need is a new American revolution. Throw them all out and start over. This is why they pursue gun control so much. There are over 300 million Americans with over 100 million guns. We outnumber the police AND the military. They can't even control the riots in most cities so what would they do with millions of armed citizens? We have the perfect form of government just a bunch of lying, thieving, power grabbing morons running it.

It is a laudable ambition to protect the environment and continue to develop cleaner renewable energy sources. We should all move in that direction and it must be reasonable. There is more than enough information indicating that just like ACA has nothing to do with health care, AGW has nothing to do with the environment.

I believe that these are two important subjects to the American Citizens. Yet our government clearly has a different agenda.

33,000 qualified scientists signed a petition, including their names addresses and educational credentials, that say your spewing the same pseudo political science that Gore and his cronies are. There is no man made global warming, never has been, and probably never will be. Google it, look at the real science.

    piotr1600 • 2 days ago

The issue isn't that climate changes - we have empirical proof that yes, it does.

The issue is the claim that current changes are at a (much) greater rate than would occur naturally, and that both the quantity and the rate of change are being driven by man-made actions.

    The counter issues are that:
    (1) There is exactly NO empirical evidence of the claim for human's causing the rate & quantity of change,
    (2) all the stuff that is being incorrectly called "evidence" is all - every last scrap - being generated by computer models. Models which have all, that is 100% of them, have failed to accurately predict a single thing correctly.
    (3) There has been no peer review done on the models (or the original data sets, or the data sets that have been "corrected" in various ways and in various schemes. No one who is not a committed AGW proponent has been allowed to see *any* data, or the models.
    (4) Even if the models were 100% right instead of 100% wrong, there is exactly nothing that has been proposed that will make any difference whatsoever.
    (5) The UN itself - in the form of multiple of their senior bureaucrats - has admitted that global climate change is nothing *but* a wealth redistribution scheme.

    Jesse Fell piotr1600 • 2 days ago

Computer models have correctly predicted a number of things: that the most rapid warming would take place in the high northern latitudes; that nights would stay warmer; that the troposphere would warm while the lower stratosphere would cool.

The data relating to global warming are available to the public at the National Climatic Data Center, the world's largest repository of such data. Go to their web site and see. Access to such data is not restricted to people who accept the AGW thesis.

    piotr1600 Jesse Fell • a day ago

I was partially incorrect, and you are partially correct: *some* data is now available.
But several of the 'foremost climate scientists' - like Hansen - have declared that their data and models are proprietary and are not available for analysis or review.
They have even gone to court over it. That data is not available.

As far as "correctly predicted", no they haven't.
They had to tweak the ever-living crap out of the data set to make the algorithms sort-of work. Which is *completely* backwards: you don't adjust the *data* to get a result, you change the algorithm to get a result based on the data.

This will be the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the civilized world. All they want is to destroy the capitalist system as espoused by Christiana Figueres of the United Nations. At a news conference February 3, 2015 in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism. Nuff said.

The fascism of the left wing is finally becoming bold and brazen.

And the typical Democrat supporter still won't wake up . . .

All of this, though our nation may fall, but all they are really proving in the end is that we must be a nation that reveres Christ Jesus in order to be free.

For our founders did, and our fathers did, and they all understood freedom, its importance, and would never have allowed this.

But here and today, where we have forgotten what Christ means for but one or two generations, maybe three, and we are about to fall into oppression and autocracy.

Future Christians and generations will see our example, indeed the example of the entire free world as it quickly turns into an oppressive autocracy without Christ at the front and center of most people's minds and hearts.

Claiming to be wise, we became as fools, and fodder for every nonsense the corrupt found convenient for us to believe.

Who could forget the hilariously wrong apocalyptic predictions on the first Earth Day in 1970? Among them were the end of civilization within 15-30 years, 100-200 million deaths to starvation annually for ten years, urban dwellers having to wear gas masks to survive, and my personal favorite – an ice age by the year 2000.

And Grand Huckster Al Gore? On January 26th 2006, the Washington Post reported that Al Gore “believes humans may have only 10 years left to save the planet from turning into a total frying pan.” Of course that time has come and gone but Mr. Gore has been busy counting the money he made of his KoolAid guzzlers and has not been available for comment!

Don't you think those who are sincere in their beliefs would practice what they preach? Lead by example? I assume they do. So my goal is to emulate the climate change leaders. So following their lead:

I'm buying a large SUV, an extra large house with multiple AC systems, a huge concrete footprint, and extensive lawn and decorative garden watering systems. Then I'm also buying a large ocean front property where I can have my property insurance subsidized by taxpayers and where I'll keep the A/C running even when I'm not there. Same with my yacht. I'm flying a commercial-sized private jet even though the places I go to are served by half-empty commercial airliners.

Of course, I'm doing none of those things, because I haven't made millions from advertising and speaking about climate change. However, I do strive to follow the examples set by Al Gore and his friends.

The Great Global Warming Swindle. It's been updated. Full of those scientist you people don't think exist.

Black Arrow • a day ago

The sky *is* falling. Global warming is already releasing methane from the sea floors and tundra into the atmosphere/biosphere, progressively accelerating the warming even more. Then there is the overlooked question of the spheres' chemical composition.

If we don't get our fossil fuel production/consumption under control ... which has unlocked dangerous hydrocarbons safely locked away for millions of years ... we could degenerate the spheres into what they were before Life of any kind was possible.

I fully support the criminalization of environmental holocaust denial, and within 10 years, the overwhelming majority of people in the world will as well.

Instead of denial, people should be pushing for alternative energy, which can actually be far less expensive monetarily, let alone environmentally.

    Lou Coatney

Bob Armstrong Black Arrow • a day ago

That is a determinedly ignorant statement .

The idea that a virtually unmeasurable change in temperature is affecting natural methane releases from the sea floor ?

Do you know how stupid that sounds to anybody with a lick of a quantitative education ?

Bob Higginbotham • 9 hours ago

Could it be that fossil fuels have no impact on climate change and that something called the Milankovitch cycle is one of the main causes? When these ignorant clowns try to blame such as CO2 (which is an effect rather than a cause) they really have their collective heads stuck squarely where the sun doesn't shine, so to speak.

    Patriot007 • 9 hours ago

Green life actually prefers warm over cold. I mean how much life do you find in the Artic. There is more life in the desert than the in the Artic. It would have made more sense to call it "Global Freezing". And to use carbon monoxide, which is green oxygen, as the culprit goes to show how little common sense these people have. How stupid do they really think we are?

There have been many severe changes in the global weather since there has been a planet Earth. Who gets the blame for the climate changes when there were very few people on the earth with no gas powered vehicles and no coal-fired electric producing places?

I am all about keeping the planet clean and healthy for future generations, but AGW is clearly the biggest TAX scam ever created.
If AGW is soooo real, how come they aren't talking about global population control?
If AGW is soooo real, how come they are still building $100-300 MILLION skyscrapers in Florida & NYC at the water line?
If AGW is soooo real, why are we still allowing imports of junk products from 3rd world nations that don't follow EPA style rules and regs???
I can go on and on about simple things we can do to lower mans carbon footprint, but I think you should get the idea.

Bowserb Jesse Fell • a day ago

Well, Jesse, then how do you feel about the ethanol from corn people? They use a gallon of fossil fuel to make a gallon of ethanol from corn. So they drive up the price of corn, while also taking taxpayer subsidies, and selling a fuel with less energy than the fossil fuel they consumed making it. When do we get to sue those people?

Bowserb ekofreak • a day ago

Yes, carbon dioxide is essential to photosynthesis in plants. No CO2; no trees, no lettuce, no watermelons, no corn. However, there are very few plants growing at 30,000 feet where Al Gore rides in his private jet.

    Ron Ted11 • a day ago

Ten degrees of global warming would be a blessing. Just study a flat map of the globe. Ten degrees would cause population centers to move a hundred miles further away from the equator and a hundred miles closer to the poles. That would bring millions of more acres of land into habitable climates, while losing very few acres to heat. It's been this way since the beginning of time.

Crask Cara • a day ago

You're not even allowed to be reading this. Why are you disobeying your Democrats. They clearly instructed us all to ignore information like this.

Your problem is that you're programmed.

Our problem is that we see reality, and know that just as easily as one buys science in one direction, they buy it in another direction.

And the hundreds of thousands of dollars some businesses use to conduct climate research, you are programmed to cry about. But the trillions in climate research paid for by people who's jobs and careers literally ride on us humans being the cause, that you are instructed to not think about . . . but because we on the right are not easily programmed, we do think about it.

So, yeah, the left needs to commit to fascism and legally silence dissent in order to get what they want.

The fact that you allow this brazen thing and are okay with it demonstrates that it really doesn't matter what it is, you'll allow it, which means climate change opposition isn't the last thing this is going to happen too.

It's going to happen about a lot of things, inevitably, because you can be programmed to allow it to happen. Well, we can't, so . . . yeah.

How is this Conservative or Liberal? Investors are piling on to this taxpayer subsidized green energy and walking away with nice profits. Utility companies finally figured a way to put a meter on solar and wind power via government subsidized mega projects while outlawing any backyard energy projects that cuts them out. Rate increases are everywhere while rate decreases cease to exist. Seems coal to natural gas conversion is extremely expensive. Frankly super boilers heat source can be changed quite inexpensively except for nuclear. That's how incinerators that burn waste to generate power work. And just like the computer you are on will someday wear out, solar cells and electricity generation and transmission equipment carrying green power will wear out. And the replacement equipment will be from fossil fuel derivatives.

Yep - it is really obvious - the same people who believe the "evolution" fairytale also believe the AGW myth. "It has nothing to do with the science, they just make stuff up when evidence gets in the way of . . ." describes both belief systems perfectly.
