Palestinian President Urges Protection of Two-state Solution

In 2005, Ariel Sharon exclaimed: "Our government has no intention of making any concessions whatsoever regarding the status of Jerusalem. Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish nation for 3000 years now, the capital of the State of Israel for 50 years, and will remain so for eternity." February 27, 2017

The Associated Press — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday urged the international community to protect the two-state solution, in a message aimed at Israel and the new U.S. administration of President Donald Trump.

At a White House meeting earlier this month, both Trump and the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, appeared to back away from the internationally supported idea of the establishment of an independent Palestine alongside Israel.

In an address to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Abbas called on states that believe in two states "to come to the defense of that solution" and recognize the state of Palestine.

"This solution must be protected from any attempt to withdraw from it or simply disregard it," he said.

The international community, including the U.S., has long supported the idea of a two-state solution as the best way to create peace between Israel and the Palestinians. In January, dozens of countries reiterated their support for this goal at an international conference in France, days before Trump took office.

But at a joint press conference with Trump on Feb. 15, Netanyahu made no mention of the two-state solution. Instead, he talked of searching for "new ways" forward, including a regional approach involving other Arab countries.

Trump, meanwhile, said he could favor any agreement between the parties, including a single Israeli-Palestinian state, a solution that neither side favors. He also referred to a "much bigger deal" involving "many countries."

Abbas said he is ready to work in a "positive spirit" with Trump, but rejected the idea of an interim agreement or single state.

"We should no longer be speaking of integrating Palestine within a larger regional framework and that is precisely what the government of Israel is attempting to do by withdrawing from progress previously achieved," he said.

He also denounced Israel's settlement activity on occupied lands claimed by the Palestinians and Israel's passage this month of a law meant to retroactively legalize thousands of West Bank settlement homes built unlawfully on private Palestinian land.

He said the law "legitimizes the theft of occupied Palestinian lands."

Abbas also cautioned against the transfer of any embassy to Jerusalem, a scenario raised by Trump.

The Watchdog Role of the Media

The watchdog role requires the news media to provide a check on powerful sectors of society, including leaders within the private and public domains. To remain objective, there should be no canoodling between the press and these leaders. The press has been given First Amendment protection, but they urinate all over it by choosing sides, and then they wonder why they aren't trusted.

Turmoil grows over White House correspondents' dinner

February 12, 2017

AFP - It is supposed to be a light-hearted gathering of journalists, celebrities and the president, where differences are put aside for good-natured jibes.

But amid a bitter war of words between the Trump administration and the Fourth Estate, plans for the 2017 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in April have been thrown into turmoil.

After President Donald Trump's repeated barbs against the "dishonest media" and "fake news," some journalists and media outlets are thinking twice about their participation in the April 29 dinner, a tradition that dates back to 1921.

"How can media clink glasses with a White House that makes clear its contempt for press freedom and its admiration for (Russian President Vladimir) Putin methods?" tweeted David Frum, a senior editor at The Atlantic.

The association, which organizes the annual event that raises money for journalism scholarships, said the dinner will be held as planned.

The White House has indicated it is on Trump's calendar -- despite some doubts about whether he will attend.

Opinion editor Robert Schlesinger of US News & World Report said that regardless of what Trump does, "the media should boycott the dinner."

"News organizations should buy tickets as usual (it's for a good cause) but make other plans that night and if he does attend, let the ratings- and crowd-obsessed narcissist freak address an empty ballroom," Schlesinger wrote.

Ironically, some analysts say the 2011 dinner in which then president Barack Obama skewered Trump became a pivotal moment in the billionaire's decision to make a White House run.

In recent years, the dinner has become a star-studded event attracting A-list celebrities ranging from George Clooney to Helen Mirren to Lindsay Lohan, with politics mainly an afterthought.

This year, The New Yorker and Vanity Fair have canceled parties they traditionally host as part of the hoopla surrounding the dinner.

Also, many stars are avoiding the event this year and no "headliner" comedian has committed so far, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

- 'Stick a fork in it' -

Washington Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan said the glitzy party and related events around it no longer seem appropriate.

"Once merely embarrassing and ridiculous, the annual White House correspondents' dinner is poised to tip over into journalistic self-abasement," she wrote. "It's time to stick a silver-plated fork in it."

Slate correspondent Jacob Weisberg echoed those sentiments, saying in a tweet: "Please cancel the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Unseemly spectacle, totally at odds with the press holding administration accountable."

Meanwhile, late-night comedy show host Samantha Bee is planning an alternative event the same evening, "welcoming journalists and non-irritating celebrities from around the world."

All proceeds from that event -- dubbed "Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner" -- will go to the Committee to Protect Journalists, Bee said.

Although all presidents have had scrapes with the press corps, relations between the media and the White House are at what some see as an all-time low.

After some news organizations called out Trump for "lies" on a variety of topics, the president disparaged journalists as "among the most dishonest human beings on earth."

His top aide Stephen Bannon called the news media "the opposition party."

Association president Jeff Mason of Reuters said the dinner would be held as usual "to celebrate the First Amendment (on freedom of the press) and the role an independent press plays in a healthy republic."

- Dining with 'the enemy' -

The pro-Trump news outlet Daily Caller reported there was "chatter" that the president may skip the gathering, in an article titled "Will Donald Trump Dine With The Enemy?"

Brent Decker, a former newspaper editor who authored "The Conservative Case for Trump," suggested he steer clear of the dinner.

"I don't think #PresidentTrump should go into the coliseum to wrestle with the wild animals," Decker tweeted.

Daily Beast editor Lloyd Grove argued that the show should go on.

"Despite aesthetic and even principled objections to this annual rite of spring, the dinner continues to serve a valid journalistic interest. Journalism can frequently be a messy enterprise," Grove wrote.

But Northeastern University journalism professor Dan Kennedy said the event serves little purpose and "should have been canceled a long time ago. "

"The public sees Washington journalists as out-of-touch, well-heeled insiders more concerned about access than they are in holding the powerful to account," Kennedy said.

Deborah Potter, a former CBS News correspondent who heads the NewsLab training center, said the event has long been "awkward" and "raises legitimate questions about coziness between reporters and their sources."

She said that the dinner "has become a creature of the White House, at which journalists take on the role of bit players in service to those in power. That's not OK under any administration."

The Watchdog Role of Media - Media as the "Fourth Estate"

January 27, 2007

Rrezja Journal - The watchdog conception, according to which, the media is supposed to serve as a controller of government, is one among the oldest main beliefs in journalism. The term ‘fourth estate’, the press’ role in being a ‘watchdog’ that will control the government was reputedly coined by Edmund Burke, in late-eighteenth century in England to refer to the political power possessed by the press of that time, on a same level with the other three ‘estates’ of power in the British realm: Lords, Church and Commons.[1]

Trump Calls the Press "the Enemy"

February 19, 2017

CBS NEWS - Reince Priebus, the White House chief of staff, advised Americans to take President Trump’s attacks on the media “seriously,” following the president’s denunciations of the press as the “enemy.”

“There’s been a debate about when to take the president seriously,” CBS’ John Dickerson said in a “Face the Nation” interview with Priebus Saturday. “He recently tweeted that the press was the enemy of the American people. Should we take that seriously from him?”

“Well, I think you should take it seriously,” Priebus replied. “I think that the problem we’ve got is that we’re talking about bogus stories like the one in the New York Times, that we’ve had constant contact with Russian officials. The next day, the Wall Street Journal had a story that the intel community was not giving the president a full intelligence briefing. Both stories grossly inaccurate, overstated, overblown, and it’s total garbage.”

Sources told CBS News there is a “chill” in the flow of intelligence to the White House, both because of comments from the president about the intelligence community and anxiety over the handling of sensitive information about Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The chief of staff continued to hammer the press for its coverage, saying “the American people suffer” because of it.

“I do think it’s a problem,” Priebus added. “And I think that the media needs to, in some cases -- not every case, John -- but in some cases really needs to get its act together.”

Trump’s Labor Nominee 0versaw ‘Sweetheart Plea Deal’ in Billionaire’s Underage Sex Case

Flight logs show that from 2001 to 2003, Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s private plane, dubbed “The Lolita Express” by the press, 26 times. After Epstein’s arrest in July 2006, federal tax records show Epstein donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation that year. Epstein was also a regular visitor to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, and the two were friends. According to the Daily Mail, Trump was a frequent dinner guest at Epstein’s home, which was often full of barely dressed models. In 2003, New York magazine reported that Trump also attended a dinner party at Epstein’s honoring Bill Clinton. [Source]

POLITICO - President Donald Trump's new nominee for secretary of labor, Alexander Acosta, could face a grilling in the Senate over claims that — while he was the top federal prosecutor in Miami — he cut a sweetheart plea deal in 2008 with a billionaire investor accused of having sex with dozens of underage girls.

As the U.S. attorney for Southern Florida, Acosta agreed not to file any federal charges against the wealthy financier, Jeffrey Epstein, if he pled guilty to state charges involving soliciting prostitution and soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Epstein ultimately received an 18-month sentence in county jail and served about 13 months — treatment that provoked outrage from alleged victims in the case.

Soon after the deal was cut in 2008, two women filed suit claiming that the decision to forgo federal prosecution violated a federal law — the Crime Victims Rights Act — because they and other teenagers Epstein paid for sex were never adequately consulted about the plea deal or given an opportunity to object to it.

Acosta is not a party in the suit, which names only the federal government as a defendant. In 2015, lawyers for the women demanded Acosta submit to a deposition in the case. The motion was withdrawn last year as settlement talks in the case went forward, but the case remains pending.

"There is good reason to believe that if the prosecutors had exposed their dealings to scrutiny by Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2 and other victims, they would not have reached such a sweetheart plea deal," the alleged victims' attorneys wrote in a court filing last year.

Acosta acknowledged to the media in 2011 that he came under extreme pressure from Epstein's high-powered defense team, which included legal heavyweights such as Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, former Whitewater independent counsel Kenneth Starr and Florida criminal defense attorney Roy Black.

Acosta said Epstein's defense mounted "a yearlong assault on the prosecution and the prosecutors."

"I use the word assault intentionally, as the defense in this case was more aggressive than any which I, or the prosecutors in my office, had previously encountered," the former U.S. attorney wrote. He said his office stuck to its opening position in the case, but he also acknowledged that the ultimate punishment in the case may have been more lenient than Epstein deserved.

"Some may feel that the prosecution should have been tougher," Acosta wrote in the letter, posted online by The Daily Beast. "Evidence that has come to light since 2007 may encourage that view. Many victims have since spoken out, filing detailed statements in civil cases seeking damages. Physical evidence has since been discovered. Had these additional statements and evidence been known, the outcome may have been different. But they were not known to us at the time."

Acosta indicated he did not approve of cushy treatment Epstein appeared to have received during his jail stint. "The treatment that he received while in state custody undermined the purpose of a jail sentence," the former prosecutor wrote.

Acosta’s involvement in the saga could be personally or politically awkward for Trump, drawing fresh attention to his ties to Epstein — including the financier’s tenure as a member at Trump’s Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago.

“I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,'' Trump told New York Magazine back in 2002. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

A Trump associate told POLITICO in 2015 that Trump and Epstein were not particularly close. “He was a member of one of Trump's clubs where he would visit with women and business associates, but there was no formal relationship," the source said.

Trump's Treasury Secretary Was a Skull & Bones Member and Investment Banker for Goldman Sachs

Jeff Berwick "Trump Was Chosen By The Elite. We'll Soon See That He's The Bankers President."
Just like with BREXIT, let the people think they won so they get back to work and paying their taxes and then not trying to change anything..

Steven Terner "Steve" Mnuchin is an American hedge fund manager. On November 30, 2016, it was announced that Mnuchin would be nominated as United States Secretary of the Treasury in the administration of President Donald Trump.

After he graduated from Yale University in 1985, Mnuchin worked for investment bank Goldman Sachs for 17 years, eventually becoming its Chief Information Officer. After he left Goldman Sachs in 2002, he worked for and founded several hedge funds. During the financial crisis of 2007–2008, Mnuchin bought failed residential lender IndyMac. He changed the name to OneWest Bank and rebuilt the bank, then sold it to CIT Group in 2015. Mnuchin joined Trump's presidential campaign in 2016, and was named national finance chairman for the campaign.

Mnuchin is estimated to have a net worth of as much as $500 million.

This guy is a dual national of a country (Israel) with no extradition treaty (safe refuge) and he belongs to a British secret society created by and for the benefit of British intelligence while he's supposed to be regulating banks like Goldman Sachs (a company owned by the British Rothschilds). What could possibly go wrong? Nothing for him at least. No risk for himself at all. You can already see how this ends. This category of person has no place in the USA let alone our federal government. Trump has become Bush version 6.0.

He started SFM capital management with George Soros!

He also worked in Hollywood financing the X Men film franchise and the Avatar movie. Bryan Singer, creator of the X-men movies, supposedly is one of the biggest pedophiles in Hollywood.

He also funded American Sniper. Look at his filmography section in the wiki. He's listed as the executive producer in many recent well known movies.

He also called stripping of the Dodd-Frank act as the "number one priority on the regulatory side."

He's a Jew, Israeli citizen, former employee of Soros and Goldman Sachs and has links with Hollywood, including Brian Singer.

According to Antony C Sutton:
... a year or so ago I received an eight-inch batch of documents - nothing less than the membership lists of an American secret society. Glancing through the sheets it was more than obvious - this was no ordinary group. The names spelled Power, with a capital P. As I probed each individual a pattern emerged ... and a formerly fuzzy world became crystal clear.
This series is infinitely more important than the original Western Technology series on technological transfers. If I have a magnum opus, this is it.
The Order consists of old line families allied with private merchant bankers, known in the U.S. as investment bankers.
Both The [Milner] Group (Rhodesian Roundtable Society) and The Order (The Skulls/ Russel Trust) have been created by Anglophiles who want to pattern the world on a Hegelian-Anglo hybrid culture. Where the Latins, the Slavs and the Sino races fit is not considered, but clearly these cultures will be disinclined to become pawns of either the British Empire or New England Yankees.
Chapter 322 of the quasi-Masonic Palladian Order of Skull & Bones, previously known as the "Brotherhood of Death"?
According to a 1940 Skull & Bones document, the initiation ceremony involves the following kinds of things: "New man placed in coffin -- carried into central part of building. New man chanted over and reborn into society. Removed from coffin and given robes with symbols on it. A bone with his name on it is tossed into the bone heap at the start of every meeting."
Within the Skull & Bones Crypt, also known as "the Tomb," there is what is referred to as a "sacred room" with the number 322, On the arched wall about the vault entrance is inscribed in German: "Who was the fool, who was the wise man, beggar or king? Whether poor or rich, all's the same in death."
This quotation from a German Freemasonic ritual remains a source of controversy surrounding the origins of Skull & Bones. It is one of the bits of "evidence" cited by some of the Order's most ardent critics that the group is "Nazi like" and singularly "Germanic". In fact, the rituals of the Order are very much like the rituals employed by Scottish and English freemasonic lodges.

On February 8, 2004, Tim Russert asked President Bush about Skull and Bones, and the President confirmed he is a member by saying he can't talk about. Part of the transcript is below:

NYPD was the First to Look at Anthony Weiner's Laptop and the 650,000 Emails, Including Underage Sex; the Justice Department is Keeping the Truth from Shining on This Great Evil

Blackwater founder and former Navy SEAL Erik Prince told Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM that according to one of his “well-placed sources” in the New York Police Department, “The NYPD wanted to do a press conference announcing the warrants and the additional arrests they were making” in the Anthony Weiner investigation, but received “huge pushback” from the Justice Department.

November 6, 2016

Breitbart - ... Erik Prince began by saying he had no problem believing reports that the FBI was highly confident multiple foreign agencies hacked Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

“I mean, it’s not like the foreign intelligence agencies leave a thank-you note after they’ve hacked and stolen your data,” Prince said to SiriusXM host Alex Marlow.

Prince claimed he had insider knowledge of the investigation that could help explain why FBI Director James Comey had to announce he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s email server last week.

“Because of Weinergate and the sexting scandal, the NYPD started investigating it. Through a subpoena, through a warrant, they searched his laptop, and sure enough, found those 650,000 emails. They found way more stuff than just more information pertaining to the inappropriate sexting the guy was doing,” Prince claimed.

“They found State Department emails. They found a lot of other really damning criminal information, including money laundering, including the fact that Hillary went to this sex island with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Bill Clinton went there more than 20 times. Hillary Clinton went there at least six times,” he said.

“The amount of garbage that they found in these emails, of criminal activity by Hillary, by her immediate circle, and even by other Democratic members of Congress was so disgusting they gave it to the FBI, and they said, ‘We’re going to go public with this if you don’t reopen the investigation and you don’t do the right thing with timely indictments,’” Prince explained.

“I believe – I know, and this is from a very well-placed source of mine at 1PP, One Police Plaza in New York – the NYPD wanted to do a press conference announcing the warrants and the additional arrests they were making in this investigation, and they’ve gotten huge pushback, to the point of coercion, from the Justice Department, with the Justice Department threatening to charge someone that had been unrelated in the accidental heart attack death of Eric Garner almost two years ago. That’s the level of pushback the Obama Justice Department is doing against actually seeking justice in the email and other related criminal matters,” Prince said.

“There’s five different parts of the FBI conducting investigations into these things, with constant downdrafts from the Obama Justice Department. So in the, I hope, unlikely and very unfortunate event that Hillary Clinton is elected president, we will have a constitutional crisis that we have not seen since, I believe, 1860,” Prince declared.

Marlow asked Prince to clarify these revelations.

“NYPD was the first one to look at that laptop,” Prince elaborated. “Weiner and Huma Abedin, his wife – the closest adviser of Hillary Clinton for 20 years – have both flipped. They are cooperating with the government. They both have – they see potential jail time of many years for their crimes, for Huma Abedin sending and receiving and even storing hundreds of thousands of messages from the State Department server and from Hillary Clinton’s own homebrew server, which contained classified information. Weiner faces all kinds of exposure for the inappropriate sexting that was going on and for other information that they found.”

“So NYPD first gets that computer. They see how disgusting it is. They keep a copy of everything, and they pass a copy on to the FBI, which finally pushes the FBI off their chairs, making Comey reopen that investigation, which was indicated in the letter last week. The point being, NYPD has all the information, and they will pursue justice within their rights if the FBI doesn’t,” Prince contended.

“There is all kinds of criminal culpability through all the emails they’ve seen of that 650,000, including money laundering, underage sex, pay-for-play, and, of course, plenty of proof of inappropriate handling, sending/receiving of classified information, up to SAP level Special Access Programs,” he stated.

“So the plot thickens. NYPD was pushing because, as an article quoted one of the chiefs – that’s the level just below commissioner – he said as a parent, as a father with daughters, he could not let that level of evil continue,” Prince said.

He noted that the FBI can investigate these matters, “but they can’t convene a grand jury. They can’t file charges.”

“The prosecutors, the Justice Department has to do that,” he explained. “Now, as I understand it, Preet Bharara, the Manhattan prosecutor, has gotten ahold of some of this. From what I hear, he’s a stand-up guy, and hopefully he does the right thing.”

Marlow agreed that Bharara’s “sterling reputation” as a determined prosecutor was “bad news for the Clintons.”

Prince agreed, but said, “If people are willing to bend or break the law and don’t really care about the Constitution or due process – if you’re willing to use Stalinist tactics against someone – who knows what level of pressure” could be brought to bear against even the most tenacious law enforcement officials?

“The point being, fortunately, it’s not just the FBI; [there are] five different offices that are in the hunt for justice, but the NYPD has it as well,” Prince said, citing the Wall Street Journal reporting that has “exposed downdraft, back pressure from the Justice Department” against both the FBI and NYPD, in an effort to “keep the sunlight and the disinfecting effects of the truth and transparency from shining on this great evil that has gone on, and is slowly being exposed.”

“The Justice Department is trying to run out the clock, to elect Hillary Clinton, to prevent any real justice from being done,” he warned.

As for the mayor of New York City, Prince said he has heard that “de Blasio wants to stay away from this.”

“The evidence is so bad, the email content is so bad, that I think even he wants to stay away from it, which is really telling,” he said.

Prince reported that the other legislators involved in the case “have not been named yet,” and urged the NYPD to hold a press conference and name them.

“I wish they’d do it today,” he said. “These are the unusual sliding-door moments of history, that people can stand up and be counted, and make a real difference, and to save a Republic, save a Constitution that we actually need and love, that our forefathers fought and died for. For any cop that is aware of this level of wrongdoing, and they have veterans in their family, or deceased veterans in their family, they owe it to them to stand up, to stand and be counted today, and shine the light of truth on this great evil.”

“From what I understand, up to the commissioner or at least the chief level in NYPD, they wanted to have a press conference, and DOJ, Washington people, political appointees have been exerting all kinds of undue pressure on them to back down,” he added.

Marlow suggested that some of those involved in keeping the details quiet might want to avoid accusations of politicizing the case and seeking to influence the presidential election.

“Sure, that’s it. That’s the argument for it,” Prince agreed. “But the fact is, you know that if the Left had emails pointing to Donald Trump visiting, multiple times, an island with underage sex slaves basically, emails, you know they’d be talking about it. They’d be shouting it from the rooftops.”

“This kind of evil, this kind of true dirt on Hillary Clinton – look, you don’t have to make any judgments. Just release the emails,” he urged. “Just dump them. Let them out there. Let people see the light of truth.”

Prince dismissed the claims of people like Clinton campaign CEO John Podesta and DNC chair Donna Brazile that some of the damaging emails already released by WikiLeaks were fabricated, noting that “forensic analysis done shows that, indeed, they are not fabricated; they are really legitimate.”

“This is stuff coming right off a hard drive that was owned by Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin, Hillary’s closest adviser for the last 20 years,” he said of the new bombshells. “This is not from some hacker or anybody else. This is a laptop seized from a warrant in a criminal investigation.”

Prince confirmed that based on his information, Abedin is most likely looking at jail time, unless she cuts a
deal with prosecutors.

“There’s a minimum of obstruction of justice and all kinds of unlawful handling of classified information,” he said. “Because remember, this laptop was in the possession of Weiner, who did not have a security clearance. And many, many of those emails were from her Yahoo account, which had State Department emails forwarded to them, so she could easier print these messages, scan them, and send them on to Hillary. That’s the carelessness that Hillary and her staff had for the classified information that the intelligence community risks life and limb to collect in challenged, opposed areas around the world.”

“That’s not who you want in the White House,” Prince declared.

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.

The People in Charge of Handling Sex Crimes Against Children are Implicated Themselves, So Don't Expect an Investigation

By andywarhaul at subreddit conspiracy
February 12, 2017

I see a lot of posts where people are getting impatient saying "where are the arrests?!" "What are they waiting for?!" "I've been hearing something big is coming for months what's going on this is all bullshit" and I just wanted to help put things into perspective and maybe shed some light on a few details.

If this is what we think it is, it's the crime if the century. Hillary/Bill Clinton and Co. are accused of everything from money laundering and child trafficking, to selling arms to warlords and toppling governments for financial gain.
The motherload on all things Clinton/corruption George Webb's series:

https://www.youtube.com/user/georgwebb/videos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid

As you can see these are big accusations to be throwing around with even bigger implications. So right off the bat we have to understand that bringing that kind of corruption to justice is going to take a lot of time and a lot of serious intervention and action on the part of the FBI, DOJ, and the House oversight committee among others. The fact that the Clintons and their crew have been running the political game for going on 30 years has made it impossible for any of those agencies to be effective in delivering justice. Examples:
(These are just a few examples of their relationships with key people, I mean Bill was President/Governor and Hillary was FLOTUS, Senator, and Sec of State. Doesn't get much more in power than that)

When the people in charge of handling these situations are implicated themselves nothing will happen. Not to mention being wary of the effect it will have on the relationship between the people and government.

But now that there is a new administration and the accused have lost control over the DOJ, the avenues for the investigation have opened up. We are only a few days into the new Attorney Generals DOJ and it would take in my opinion, a couple weeks at least to get organized and familiarized with the details of an investigation of this scale. This goes for the house oversight committee as well. They both need time to go over everything and make their reports/conclusions. This, however, also requires that they have all the pertinent information available to them. This means they need the 650,000 emails from the FBI. They were supposed to turn in all evidence on the Clinton Investigation that had been stored on their Datto Inc. Cloud storage drive by last Friday.

The UK Daily Mail reports that huge crowds responded to a call from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to show up in defiance of Trump putting the Islamic Republic "on notice" for its missile test on January 29. Iran also is one of seven Middle Eastern countries on Trump's current "travel ban" list.

President Hassan Rouhani also called on Iranians to join the rally on Friday to "show their unbreakable ties with the Supreme Leader and the Islamic Republic."

"This turnout is a response to false remarks by the new rulers in the White House and the people are telling the world through their presence that the Iranian people must be spoken to with respect," Rouhani said.

"Iranians will make those using threatening language against this nation regret it. Anyone threatening Iran's government and armed forces should know that our nation is vigilant."

One young Iranian man told state TV: "America and Trump cannot do a damn thing. We are ready to sacrifice our lives for our leader Khamenei."

Trump has sharply criticized former community organizer Barack Obama's nuclear deal with Iran, which was purportedly designed to stop the country from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Obama is Scheming to Sabotage Trump’s Presidency and is Bankrolling a Nonstop Protest Against Invented Outrage

How Obama is bankrolling a nonstop protest against invented outrage

November 14, 2015

NEW YORK POST - Barack Obama’s presidency has been pockmarked by rioting, looting and protests. That’s no coincidence. It’s what the former community organizer sought from Day One. And it’s just going to get worse before he leaves office.

The senseless protests we’re seeing break out on the campuses of the University of Missouri, Yale and other colleges, as well as on bridges and highway overpasses and outside police stations, are precisely the kind of thing Obama was trained to organize while attending leftist agitation schools founded by Chicago communist Saul Alinsky. He learned to a fare-thee-well how to “rub raw the sores of discontent.”

Now Obama is returning the favor of his Alinsky masters, training and cloning an army of social justice bullies to carry on his revolution to “fundamentally transform America.” He’s doing it mainly through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action, or OFA, which will outlast his administration.

OFA, formerly Obama for America, has trained more than 10,000 leftist organizers, who, in turn, are training more than 2 million youths in Alinsky street tactics.

The leftist group, which recently registered as a 501c4 nonprofit eligible for unlimited contributions, holds regular “organizing summits” on college campuses.

Through social media, they mobilize flash mobs against “biased cops,” “climate-change deniers,” “Wall Street predators” and “gun extremists.” They hold rallies against conservative foes of gay marriage, LGBT rights, abortion and amnesty for illegal immigrants.

In addition, Obama has trained hundreds of thousands of junior agitators through AmeriCorps, a Clinton youth program he’s dramatically expanded, and through My Brother’s Keeper, the “racial justice” initiative he launched in the wake of the 2012 death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. My Brother’s Keeper agitates for “school discipline reform” — that is, touchy-feely alternatives to suspensions and expulsions — and other measures to “improve outcomes for boys and young men of color.”

All three of these federally sponsored projects have crossover with the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Wall Street movements, both of which Obama embraces. They share manpower and resources, as well as radical agendas, while coordinating activities with nonprofit ACORN clones, who are being secretly bankrolled through Justice Department subprime settlement funds extracted from banks.

In fact, the president has egged on both BLM and OWS protesters. “We are on their side,” he assured OWS in 2011. And last year, Obama met with Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who earlier this year also got to sit down with the first lady in the White House.

This president has encouraged the nonstop civil unrest exhausting the nation.

The protests of the ’60s had real causes — fighting for civil rights and opposing the draft during an unpopular war. But today’s protesters are posers grasping at faux causes and ginning up pseudo-grievances about things like Halloween costumes and swastikas drawn in bathrooms.

They are protesters in search of an issue, agitators in search of a target. They aren’t even rabble-rousers so much as rubble-rousers picking through the charred remains of the last revolution.

Alinsky’s 13th rule for radicals — “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it” — is getting harder to do, because there are fewer and fewer real targets from which to pick. That’s why today’s racism charges are so nebulous.

The Most Vocal Outcries Against Trump Come from Urban Elites and the Corporations That Cater to Them

Elites Protest a New Revolution

“We deserve to be in in charge.”

February 6, 2017

Daniel Greenfield - The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox. It will be brought to you by BMW. The German luxury automaker is a key advertiser at GQ. And GQ is the headquarters of the Resistance. That's a vlog by Keith Olbermann who returned from his exile at an ESPN Elba to denounce Trump.

"I am Keith Olbermann," Keith Olbermann barks to the peasants and workers of GQ who are taking a break from reading an article on '$100 Cologne that Smells Like Nothing', "This is the Resistance."

The Resistance is Remy Martin and Coach. It’s the ‘Best Silver Nail Clippers for Men to Buy Now’ and ‘7 Skincare Treatments Men are Asking for in 2017’. It’s the SAG Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

It’s the self-important people and the beautiful people rising up against the democratic oppression of the working class and proclaiming courageously in one voice, “We deserve to be in in charge.”

When the revolution isn't at GQ (The Most Radical Dress Socks to Wear Right Now), it's at Vanity Fair where Graydon Carter denounces Trump (Donald Trump: A Pillar of Ignorance and Certitude) with a byline photo of himself taken by Annie Leibovitz smiling smugly from his skyscraper office.

Maybe the resistance is Reed Hastings, the billionaire CEO of Netflix, who used his wealth catering to the tastes of urban elites, to lobby to raise the taxes of the middle class. Hastings whined that President Trump's moves to protect Americans were "so un-American it pains us all.”

Who are these 'us'? It might be Warren Buffett, Google's Eric Schmidt and Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg, with whom Hastings had joined to support Hillary Clinton. Or it might be the CEOs of Lyft, Airbnb and Twitter, to name a few, who have jointed the anti-Trump “resistance” of wealthy elites.

It's no coincidence that the most vocal outcries against President Trump's measures have come from urban elites and the corporations that cater to their whims. It's easy to spot the class divides in the scoffing at Andrew Puzder, CEO of the company behind Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, getting a cabinet position instead of Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg who had been  tipped for Treasury Secretary by Hillary.

Carl's Jr and its 4 Dollar Real Deal are a world away from Facebook's Gehry designed Menlo Park headquarters. As much as a WWE tournament is from Conde Nast's Manhattan skyscraper.

It's hard to imagine a clearer contrast between coastal elites and the heartland, and between the new economy and the old. On the one side are the glittering cities where workforces of minorities and immigrants do the dirty work behind the slick logos and buzzwords of the new economy. On the other are Rust Belt communities and Southern towns where working people actually used to make things.

Facebook's top tier geniuses enjoy the services of an executive chef, treadmill workstations and a bike repair shop, all walled off from East Palo Alto's Latino population and its crime and gang violence. But who works in Facebook's eleven restaurants or actually repairs the bikes in the back room? Or looks through the millions of pictures posted on its timelines to screen out spam, pornography and violence?

Behind the illusion of a shiny new Facebook future are Mexicans getting paid a few dollars an hour to decide if that Italian Renaissance painting you just shared violates its content guidelines.

If you live in the world of Facebook, Lyft, Netflix and Airbnb, crowding into airports and shouting, "No Borders, No Nations, Stop The Deportations" makes sense. You don't live in a country. You live in one of a number of interchangeable megacities or their bedroom communities. Patriotism is a foreign concept. You have no more attachment to America than you do to Friendster or Myspace. The nation state is an outdated system of social organization that is being replaced by more efficient systems of global governance. The only reasons anyone would cling to nations and borders are ignorance or racism.

The demographic most opposed to President Trump is not a racial minority, but a cultural elite.

This isn't a revolution. The revolutions happened in June and November. Brexit and Trump were revolutions. The protests against them are a reaction by the overthrown establishment.

John DeCamp: Columbine Shooters Used by Law Enforcement for “Sexual Purposes” Months Before Attack

John DeCamp: Columbine Shooters Victims of Sexual Predator Cops

Video published on January 5, 2014

After years of silence, John DeCamp has spoken out about what happened in the case against Solvay Pharmaceuticals where he represented Columbine survivor Mark Taylor.

If anyone still has doubts about whether police officers are capable of such a thing, please refer to the extensive list of DA’s, detectives, police officers, police chiefs, secret service agents, and other law enforcement officials who have been found guilty of sex crimes against children. Also, take a look at the ‘punishment’ some of these parasites get- such as the police chief who raped a three-year-old baby twice and was given five years probabtion. According to prisonlegalnews.net, over 60% of prison rapes are committed by staff, many of which are ex police officers, ex military and so forth. The word used to describe the rape situation in prison is pandemic.

Here is that list:

Tribute to survivors of child sexual assault by law enforcement officers

April 5, 2016

Independent News International - After years of silence, John DeCamp has spoken out about what happened in the case against Solvay Pharmaceuticals where he represented Columbine survivor Mark Taylor

John DeCamp is the author of The Franklin Coverup, a former State Congressman, a Vietnam Veteran and the first attorney to sue the Catholic Church for sexually abusing children. Now that even the Pope admits to wide-spread pedophilia in the Church, let’s move on to these allegations of sexual predator cops.

According to Mark’s attorney, John DeCamp, there was a conference in Chambers over the matter of introducing evidence supporting Solvay’s defense theory that the cause of Eric and Dylan’s intense anger was the repeated sexual assaults on the boys subsequent to their arrest for breaking into a van the previous year, 1998.

Here is a portion of a January 2013 radio interview where DeCamp discusses these issues.  He clearly states, “[law enforcement handlers] used the boys for their own sexual needs and purposes.”
John Decamp, Mark Taylor's Plea for Freedom, and the WRITTEN Motive for the Columbine Attack

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKJIgOyWb-M

In this January 2013 radio interview, John DeCamp, author of The Franklin Coverup, discloses what he learned in the 2004 Taylor v. Solvay Pharmaceuticals case. "Law enforcement used the boys (Eric and Dylan) for their own sexual needs and purposes." This after the "January Incident" where the boys were arrested for breaking into a van and later sodomized. Eric wrote in Dylan's Yearbook, "My wrath for the January incident will be godlike. We'll have so much fun blowing up stuff and killing cops!!" He underlined killing cops.
There is, was, and always has been a written motive for the Columbine attack.

Government officials involved and the press have missed the real motive for Columbine, which is clearly stated in this entry into Eric’s yearbook by Dylan.  This document has a “JC-001” bates number on it and was part of the original 11,000 pages produced publicly after the first investigation (the correct document number is JC-001-06237).
“Ahhh, my favorite book (referring to hell on earth).  We’ll have so much fun killing enemies, blowing up stuff, killing cops!!  My wrath for January’s incident will be godlike.”
On the day of the attack, Eric wore a t-shirt emblazoned with the single word, “Wrath.”

Obviously, ALL of the alleged Columbine motives are dead wrong.  This crime wasn’t about hall-way harassment, bullying by jocks, the trench coat mafia, etc.  This is about two boys getting even for being raped up the ass by armed men wearing badges.

You have the motive, written in the hand of one of the killers.  Is there something confusing about what is written here?

The “January Incident” was the year before the shooting when Eric and Dylan were raped, arrested and booked for breaking into a van and stealing electronic equipment.

According to Eric’s mother (paraphrasing her deposition), Eric was very distraught and crying a lot after the arrest.

Remember, 60 Minutes brought out the fact that the bomb warrant to search the Harris home was hidden for two years.  Why?  Obviously, had the bomb warrant been served, the rapes by the JEFCO sheriff deputies would have come out.

CIA Power Struggle: War Mongers Versus Oil Barons

The endless, war-loving CIA/Military-Industrial Complex weapons manufacturer companies, with the motto "Always Be Bombing," always wants war and international conflict. They are responsible for most of our incredibly burdensome 20-TRILLION dollar debt, which continues to dangerously grow, robbing Americans of their money and governmental services. We're paying our goverment to play war to enrich the CIA/Military-Industrial Complex. Meanwhile roads, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, real employment, job growth, and American dreams continue to deteriorate, enriching only the Military-Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about 55 years ago.

There's a big power struggle going on right now between two usual allies: the CIA/Weapons Manufacturing Companies side of the Junta (what President Eisenhower referred to as the "Military-Industrial Complex") and the Oil Company side of the Junta led by Trump-appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, the recent ExxonMobil C.E.O.  Where do you think all those leaked emails from the DNC, Hillary Clinton, and John Podesta came from? From Russian hackers? No, they came from the Oil Company faction of the Junta that wanted Trump to be President.

For those who might now know, CNN stands for "CIA News Network." Of course all the "mainstream" media are infiltrated by the CIA, making them propagandists more than journalists, but CNN is going the extra mile now by last night single-handedly resurrecting the phoney, CIA-produced, laughable, grammatical error-strewn, 35-page, so-called "Russia dossier" on Trump. Not that I'm a fan of Trump or Clinton (I voted for the Green Party. Green candidates are not professional liars like Donald Rump and Killery Clinton -- I call her Killery because she supported the CIA's plan for a No-Fly-Zone and perpetual war in Syria; even Obama resisted the crazy idea of a No-Fly-Zone there while President, though Obama did let the CIA go crazy in Syria in every other way).

NBC News is strong on the dark side of the force too when it had Cynthia McFadden promulgate in December or January more fake news about a closely related matter. Might as well call it NBCia News.

Did you all see NBC's Andrea Mitchell interview Undersecretary of State Tom Countryman shortly after Trump fired him AND ALL of the State Department's high-level "diplomats," most of which are likely CIA operatives. See the new film "Snowden" on more about how the State Department has always been infiltrated by CIA plants (not that I'm saying Tom Countryman is CIA -- I have no idea -- but you could just see Andrea Mitchell cringing on the inside when Tom appeared on her show the other week with a MULLET! LOL! Yes a mullet in back, though it lacked a ponytail.

I saw yesterday when Tom Countryman appeared on CNN to be interviewed by Brooke Bouldain that he finally had cut off his long hair in back. I have nothing against Mullets -- wear your hair any way you like LOL -- but if you're representing the U.S. government overseas, for goodness sake.... LOL!!! You can stop cringing now Andrea. The mullet's gone.

Of course Andrea Mitchell probably loves the CIA (she might even have ties with the CIA). A few weeks ago when Rick Santelli appeared on "Meet The Press," and called the Congressional Hearings into totally unproven CIA lies about fake foreign interference in the last presidential election "Kobuki Theater" (Santelli called the Congressional Hearings "Kobuki Theater"), Andrea Mitchell was visibly offended and countered Rick in support of the Congressional show trial.

Anyway, we could go on and on. But it's clear there's a power struggle right now between the CIA/Weapons Manufacturing Companies side of the Junta (what President Eisenhower referred to as the "Military-Industrial Complex") and the Oil Company side of the Junta (led by Trump-appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, the recent ExxonMobil CEO).

In the past few years, Exxon has signed many deals with Russia's Vladimir Putin to drill for oil in Russia's arctic waters. The Russians don't have the technology to drill in the Arctic Ocean, so Rex and Vladimir are becoming bosom buddies. That means finally putting an end to the CIA's proxy war in Syria as The Intercept's Glenn Greenwald called it, saying Hillary Clinton (I mean Killary Clinton) made a point many times in the Hillary-Donald debates to support the CIA's desire to create a No-Fly-Zone in Syria, prolonging the death and destruction of that war, in which already half-a-million people have died and millions more displaced. Hillary is more pro-CIA than Obama, who said no to the No-Fly-Zone in Syria (Syria's government is a friend of Russia). As conservative commentator Roger Stone has said, it would be extremely dangerous for one nuclear power (the U.S.) to shoot down war planes of another nuclear power (Russia) in Syrian air space due to the creation of a No-Fly-Zone there.

Plus the endless, war-loving CIA/Military-Industrial Complex weapons manufacturer companies, whose motto is "Always Be Bombing," and who always want war and international conflict, are responsible for most of our incredibly burdensome 20-TRILLION dollar debt which continues to dangerously grow, robbing Americans of their money and governmental services. We're paying our government to play war to enrich the CIA/Military-Industrial Complex. Meanwhile roads, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, real employment, job growth, and American dreams continue to deteriorate, enriching only the Military-Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about 55 years ago. So I ask "Where is Fiber?" Hooking up America with a fiber-optic network from coast to coast would probably cost no more than 200 to 300 billion dollars, but there's no money for it or anything else either now because the CIA/Military-Industrial Complex wing of the Junta has maxed out our national credit card, wasting and stealing most of our 20-TRILLION-dollar national debt.

Anyway, there's a big power struggle going on right now between two usual allies: the CIA/Weapons Manufacturing companies side of the Junta (who wanted Hillary to be President) and the Oil companies side of the Junta (who wanted Donald/Rex/Pence to be President). Where do you think all those leaked emails from the DNC, Hillary Clinton, and John Podesta came from? From Russian hackers? No, they came from the Oil Company faction of the Junta.

CNN Cuts Off Bernie Sanders After He Calls Them 'Fake News' Jokingly

Drooperdoo wrote at Reddit:
I have yet to see any of these sites peddle false stories. CNN is nothing BUT false stories. From their phony Gulf War reporting (where they pretended the correspondent was in Iraq, but he was really in Atlanta), to their being at the Ferguson riots and they interviewed the camera man (passing him off as a random man in the street), to the multiple times they got caught feeding focus groups pre-scripted lines. It happened during the Presidential debates and it just happened against last week. Everything about that network is fake. (In fact, since the NDAA legalized propaganda in 2012, the entire mainstream media has collapsed into North Korean-style Ministry of Propaganda programming, with one fake news story after another. I've never in my lifetime seen so much naked bias and false reporting.) Outside the MSM, however, we're seeing a renaissance of real reporting. . . . But you have to leave the propaganda matrix to get it. It's sad, really. We're watching the legacy media die. They keep asking how these other venues are getting higher ratings, yet they recoil when the simple answer comes back: "They report the truth". The truth to CNN is like garlic to a vampire. They could increase their viewership and internet clicks instantly by doing serious journalism again, but they'd rather get those government propaganda checks from the Pentagon and those public relations checks from George Soros and the DNC. Hence every one of their stories is now "How Trump is Hitler".
CNN is a propaganda mouthpiece for the CIA, State Department and Pentagon.

CNN is the epitome of fake news. The whole entire 24 hour program is one giant propaganda production. They tell nothing but lies.

Occasional watch these corporate media outlets when you want to see what agenda is being pushed to the masses.

The Overwhelming Majority of K-12 Teachers in Public Schools are Highly Politicized and are Solidly in the Liberal Camp Ideologically

“It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy, exposed to the ideology of the enemy. In other words, Marxist-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counter-balanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism. The result? The result you can see. Most of the people who graduated in the sixties, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, educational system. You are stuck with them. You cannot get rid of them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to stimuli in a certain pattern. You cannot change their minds even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you cannot change the basic perception and illogical behavior. In other words, in these people the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible. To rid society of these people, you need another 15 years to educate a new generation of patriotically-minded and common sense people who would be acting in favor and in the interests of the United States society.” [1985 Interview of Yuri Bezmenov, Russian-Born, KGB-Trained Subverter Who Defected to the United States]

THE DAILY SHEEPLE - Betsy DeVos was confirmed as the United States education secretary. The aversion teachers unions have to DeVos is on display. Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, went as far as to say that the day DeVos was confirmed was a “sad day for children.”  But the AFT isn’t an innocent party in the politics game. It invested heavily in Democratic politicians like former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

In the 2016 election cycle alone, the AFT spent over $19 million in Washington, and Hillary Clinton was their top recipient.

The former Democratic presidential nominee, the ATF wrote at the time, “shares our vision for America,” which includes blind support for teacher tenure — a policy that forces schools to keep bad teachers in classrooms and that DeVos vocally opposed long before Trump picked her as his education secretary. So it isn’t a surprise that organizations like the ATF would be so adamantly opposed to her nomination.

But despite the rhetoric, the Department of Education was created as a promise to teachers unions, meant to “fix” the problems created by state governments running public education at the time.

The agency was never supposed to exist, as even Democrats disliked the idea at the time. As Reason Magazine’s Anthony L. Fisher explains, then-President Jimmy Carter created the department in 1979 as “a favor to a large and powerful special interest group,” and not “a necessary reorganization to allow the federal government to ‘meet its responsibilities in education more effectively, more efficiently, and more responsively,’ as then-President Jimmy Carter put it.”

DeVos may have undeniable ties to the Republican party, but her policies scare union leaders because they would allow for institutions to use public funds to run schools where staff members aren’t required to be unionized — not because either party is willing to put an end to the federal government’s control of public education.

Despite the fuss, DeVos isn’t the witch opposition leaders claim she is. But Democratic leaders aren’t the supporters of equality in education they claim to be either. The truth is that freeing education from the hands of bureaucrats would be the only answer to this problem, rendering both sides useless when it comes to setting an agenda.

Department of Education: Doing More Harm Than Good

The department was first created as a bureaucratic “fix” to state-run education, allowing the federal government to intervene in the educational affairs of individual states across the country. But instead of accomplishing what it set out to achieve, the department has, instead, used copious amounts of public funds to create and maintain bureaucracies that create and enforce regulations, including rules that hurt minorities who choose to attend for-profit “career” colleges or career schools — institutions that cater to the low-income population.

After all, if the federal government is going to offer student loans to the poor, why should it discriminate against those who opt for a technical school? Does Washington have something against offering low-income students an opportunity to have hands-on experience related to their career interests? Or perhaps they aren’t too fond of welders?

On average, the country spends over 23 percent of per capita income on its students, and yet it is clear that spending so much taxpayer money on education over the years has resulted in little to no improvement in quality.

In 2015, America ranked 17th in educational performance out of forty countries. It ranked 2nd in general ignorance regarding voting patterns, social statistics, and other subjects.

When it comes to overall performance, private schools still beat public schools. This is a fact politicians all know about since most public school supporters opposing DeVos have children or grandchildren enrolled in private institutions.

So why are we still debating who should head the Department of Education as opposed to how soon we could put an end to it?

Educating or Indoctrinating? Facts are Stubborn Things

Over the 30 years of its existence, the Department of Education has exerted a great deal of influence on K-12 education, mostly because public schools are only able to receive federal funding if theyfollow certain federal guidelines.”

Teachers applying these standards are also the product of this influence, having been in the public education system before running off to college themselves.

In an article for the Mises Institute, professor of communication at the University of South Florida Loyd S. Pettegrew writes that the overwhelming majority of K-12 teachers working today in the public school system are highly politicized, with K-12 English classes becoming “ersatz social studies classes with biased content taught by moralizing pedagogues.”

He quotes David Labaree, professor in Stanford’s Graduate School of Education, who claims that “education schools are solidly in the progressive camp ideologically.”

But now that the Department of Education will be run by partisans of different political ideologies, is it fair to contend that education standards may shift, allowing for different political ideas to take over?

When progressivism became a powerful force in America, the U.S. government became a powerful interventionist machine — domestically and abroad. The central tenet of progressivism, historian and author Thaddeus Russell writes, is that “the American national government is responsible for the reform and uplift of those ‘we’ deem to be living below ‘our’ standards, and that ‘they’ must be protected from their oppressors.” President Carter was a proud progressive who claimed he had seen the “lives and the hopes of people enriched beyond all expectations by actions of the Federal Government” during the inauguration of the then-newly minted Department of Health and Human Services.

He believed that the federal government has a role in ‘changing people’s lives’ as it sees fit, thus the creation of a federal bureaucracy tasked with the goal of overseeing the education of all American children.

As with anything else in government, these agencies aren’t nonpartisan institutions. They are run by people — people with agendas and political preferences.

Unless we’re willing to succumb to the standards defended by current and future administrations, having and supporting a federal education department should not be a priority. Abolishing it would still not be enough since education departments run by state governments would remain in place. After all, public schools in America have, for the past decades, worked to make students comfortable with the idea of living in a “Big Brother police state control grid.” This is just the type of “schooling” the youth requires to stay obedient throughout their adulthood, never questioning the government’s official narrative.

Instead of giving in to conformity, what we must remember is that unless parents are willing to surrender their children’s education entirely to what the government deems appropriate, choice is what should guide personal education policy. And more choices are only possible when there’s freedom to experiment. Having a powerful education department in Washington D.C. overseeing every single aspect of every child’s education is the very opposite of freedom.

Trump Invites Sheriff to 'Destroy' Texas State Lawmaker Who Opposes Asset Forfeiture

February 9, 2017

Yahoo News - Pennsylvania state Sen. Daylin Leach went after President Trump on Tuesday, branding him a “fascist, loofa-faced, s***-gibbon,” and challenging him to “come after me.”

Leach, a Philadelphia-area Democrat, posted a Politico report on Facebook about the president’s recent White House meeting with county sheriffs from across the country. During the meeting, one sheriff brought up civil asset forfeiture, a practice allowing law enforcement to seize money and property belonging to individuals accused of committing a crime, even before a verdict is handed down.

The sheriff, from Rockwall County, Texas, griped about a Texas state senator seeking to change the law so that a conviction would be required before a suspect’s assets could be seized.

The sheriff joked that “the cartel would build a monument” to the legislator.

“Who is the state senator? Do you want to give his name? We’ll destroy his career,” Trump responded.

Leach, an opponent of civil asset forfeiture, linked to the article on Facebook, adding, “Hey! I oppose civil asset forfeiture too. Why don’t you come after me you fascist, loofa-faced s***-gibbon!!” He posted a similar message to Twitter.

16 Fake News Stories Reporters Have Run Since Trump Won

Journalists, media types, reporters, you have two choices: you can fix these problems, or you can watch your profession go down in flames.

February 6, 2017

THE FEDERLIST - Since at least Donald Trump’s election, our media have been in the grip of an astonishing, self-inflicted crisis. Despite Trump’s constant railing against the American press, there is no greater enemy of the American media than the American media. They did this to themselves.

We are in the midst of an epidemic of fake news. There is no better word to describe it than “epidemic,” insofar as it fits the epidemiological model from the Centers for Disease Control: this phenomenon occurs when “an agent and susceptible hosts are present in adequate numbers, and the agent can be effectively conveyed from a source to the susceptible hosts.”

The “agent” in this case is hysteria over Trump’s presidency, and the “susceptible hosts” are a slipshod, reckless, and breathtakingly gullible media class that spread the hysteria around like—well, like a virus.

It is difficult to adequately sum up the breadth of this epidemic, chiefly because it keeps growing: day after day, even hour after hour, the media continue to broadcast, spread, promulgate, publicize, and promote fake news on an industrial scale. It has become a regular part of our news cycle, not distinct from or extraneous to it but a part of it, embedded within the news apparatus as a spoke is embedded in a bicycle wheel.

Whenever you turn on a news station, visit a news website, or check in on a journalist or media personality on Twitter or Facebook, there is an excellent chance you will be exposed to fake news. It is rapidly becoming an accepted part of the way the American media are run.

How we will get out of this is anyone’s guess. We might not get out of it, not so long as Trump is president of these United States. We may be up for four—maybe eight!—long years of authentic fake news media hysteria. It is worth cataloging at least a small sampling of the hysteria so far. Only when we fully assess the extent of the media’s collapse into ignominious ineptitude can we truly begin to reckon with it.

Since Trump’s election, here’s just a small sampling of fake news that our media and our journalist class have propagated.

Early November: Spike in Transgender Suicide Rates

After Trump’s electoral victory on November 8, rumors began circulating that multiple transgender teenagers had killed themselves in response to the election results. There was no basis to these rumors. Nobody was able to confirm them at the time, and nobody has been able to confirm in the three months since Trump was elected.

Nevertheless, the claim spread far and wide: Guardian writer and editor-at-large of Out Zach Stafford tweeted the rumor, which was retweeted more than 13,000 times before he deleted it. He later posted a tweet explaining why he deleted his original viral tweet; his explanatory tweet was shared a total of seven times. Meanwhile, PinkNews writer Dominic Preston wrote a report on the rumors, which garnered more than 12,000 shares on Facebook.

At Mic, Matthew Rodriguez wrote about the unsubstantiated allegations. His article was shared more than 55,000 times on Facebook. Urban legend debunker website Snopes wrote a report on the rumors and listed them as “unconfirmed” (rather than “false”). Snopes’s sources were two Facebook posts, since deleted, that offered no helpful information regarding the location, identity, or circumstances of any of the suicides. The Snopes report was shared 19,000 times.

At Reason, writer Elizabeth Nolan Brown searched multiple online databases to try to determine the identities or even the existence of the allegedly suicidal youth. She found nothing. As she put it: “[T]eenagers in 2016 don’t just die without anyone who knew them so much as mentioning their death online for days afterward.”

She is right. Just the same, the stories hyping this idea garnered at least nearly 100,000 shares on Facebook alone, contributing to the fear and hysteria surrounding Trump’s win.

Trump 'Shows True Face of US,' Says Iran's Supreme Leader

Khamenei told a gathering of Iran's air force commanders in Tehran that the new US administration has shown the world "the depth of corruption in US government," according to quotes published by Iran's semi-official MEHR news agency.

Khamenei reportedly told the commanders: "We however thank this new guy in the White House, since he largely did the job we had been trying to do in the past decades: to divulge the true face of the US. We had been working to show the world the depth of corruption in US government and ranks and files of the ruling elite; Trump did it in few days after coming to the White House."

He added: "Their claims to human rights are no longer tenable."

Khamenei also made an apparent reference to the five-year-old son of an Iranian mother who was detained at a US airport following Trump's ban on visas for seven Muslim-majority countries, including Iran.

According to Iran's official news agency, IRNA, the Ayatollah said: "Presently, too, by embarking on such actions, like putting handcuffs on a five-year-old kid, he [Trump] is demonstrating the reality behind the American human rights."

Khamenei's comments come amid escalating tensions between Iran and the US since Trump became president.

The travel ban and sanctions enacted by the Trump administration, coupled with missile testing by Iran, have contributed to the deteriorating relationship.

Concerns have been raised over the future of a deal, brokered by the Obama administration, that requires Iran to heavily restrict its nuclear program.

On Saturday, a day after the Trump administration imposed fresh sanctions over an Iranian ballistic missile test, US Defense Secretary James Mattis called Iran "the single biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world."

Two days earlier, Trump had tweeted that "Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE" and should have been "thankful" for the "terrible deal" brokered by the Obama administration. He declined to rule out military action against Iran.

But a senior Iranian adviser to the Ayatollah, Ali Akbar Velayati, dismissed Trump's remarks as "baseless ranting." And this is not the first time that the Ayatollah has spoken in such terms about the US President.

In November, during the election race, Khamenei lambasted both Trump and Hillary Clinton for revealing what he called the moral shortcomings of the US.
