This is What a Police State Looks Like in America

WATERTOWN, MA - On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.

After Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed on April 19, 2013, "authorities" in Boston suspended all mass transit and warned close to one million people in the entire city and some of its suburbs to stay indoors as the hunt for his brother, Dzhokhar, went on. Businesses were asked not to open. People waiting at bus and subway stops were told to go home. From Watertown to Cambridge, police SWAT teams, sharpshooters and FBI agents with armored vehicles surrounded various buildings as police helicopters buzzed overhead. [Source]

Local Police Absorb Military Training Tactics for Possible Future Use on Unsuspecting Citizens

March 20, 2014

Infowars.com - Members of the Austin Police Department trained alongside Texas Army National Guard troops at Austin’s Camp Mabry yesterday, learning various military tactics they say will help them be better prepared for the next Ford Hood.
“In light of recent events, the Fort Hood shooting, the Navy yard shooting, These are all incidents that strike home the importance of being ready and prepared,” Lt. Colonel Les Davis told Fox News Austin.
News crews were allowed to witness “a few of” the drills within the facility, which includes outside wooded “rural terrain,” where armed APD stormtroopers decked out in SWAT attire swarmed hallways clearing several rooms, all the while absorbing training methods intended for military personnel.

policetrain2
“An opportunity to work with the Austin Police Department gives us the chance to learn how they train. We teach them how we train and we use this opportunity to practice the techniques we would use should we have a real incident on post,” Lt. Col. Davis told Fox News.
This was the first time officers trained with National Guard service members, but APD wasn’t shy to tell all about how they were learning military combat tactics designed for warfare.

policetrain3
“Every time we work with the military I think we both come away winners,” APD Assistant Chief Steve Deaton expressed, adding, “We use them to help teach our CAST team [Counter Assault Strike Team] small unit tactics.”
The niggling fact news crews were only allowed to view “a few of the drills” in Austin begs questions as to what other types of drills were carried out.

While on the surface the training seems innocent enough, similar preparations taking place countrywide are stoking fears that federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are training to take on the American people in the event of mass civil unrest.

Last month, we highlighted the military’s $96 million “fake city” located in Virginia, purportedly built for use in different combat training scenarios. Though the Army didn’t specify a particular training purpose, the city contained a school, a bank, and a subway station whose trains bore “the same logo as the carriages in Washington DC,” according to the London Telegraph.

Previous training drills conducted well within residential and urban areas, as well as strange acquirements of hollow point ammo and military vehicles, have also given rise to speculation that the federal government is indeed preparing for some type of unspeakable fallout which will require large volumes of trained personnel.

Several high-ranking military members have also expressed concerns about the federal government’s sudden expansion and covert training efforts, fueling worries that the American people are the ultimate target.

Last year, former Navy SEAL Ben Smith told Fox News the Obama administration was carrying out a litmus test on its top officers with the main focus being whether they would be prepared to order NCOs to fire on Americans.

Similarly, retired U.S. Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow expressed last year that he felt the Obama administration was preparing for a “coup” against the people, and labeled the DHS’s appropriation of weapons a “bold threat of war” against US citizens.

For years, Infowars has been at the forefront of exposing secret Army training plans, such as the “Civil Disturbance Operations” document for Military Police which outlined how to quell domestic riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans, as well as manuals detailing “re-education camps” and “resettlement operations” which contained plans for pacifying “political activists,” in addition to highlighting solicitations seeking out “Internment/Resettlement Specialists” to work in “civilian internee camps.”

No particular crisis has thus far presented the opportunity for a vigorous clamp down, but with economic insolvency, the looming threat of a new cold war, the ratcheting up of the war on gun rights and dependency on the government at all time highs, it’s not difficult to fathom the tipping point may be right around the corner.

National Guard and Cops Impose Military Police State in New York State

July 7, 2010

Infowars.com - Alex Jones and Matt Ryan reported earlier today that the National Guard is currently working with police in Albany, New York, to confiscate weapons from citizens in violation of the Constitution and Posse Comitatus.

The National Guard is a joint reserve component of the United States Army and as such prohibited from collaborating with state and local law enforcement except under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress. Posse Comitatus was seriously undermined when Congress passed the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. The Warner bill allows the president to “employ the armed forces… to… restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition.”

In New York state, the “other condition” allowing the military to violate the rights of citizens is the bogus “war on drugs.” As the video here reveals, the cops and National Guard are using the spurious drug war to search for and confiscate weapons in violation of the Second Amendment. Local cops are using x-ray technology provided by the Pentagon to search vehicles. In addition to images of pot plants, Fox 23 shows an image of an x-ray scan that reveals a rifle hidden inside a car.

During Hurricane Katrina, the military and government concentrated on going house-to-house to confiscate legal weapons while preventing assistance to reach thousands of people displaced by the storm. In the wake of this egregious violation of the Second Amendment, many states worked to pass laws designed to prevent government from seizing weapons. “The actions of the New Orleans police have inspired 13 states, including Louisiana, to enact laws to keep state and local officials from taking guns during a state of emergency, such as after a natural disaster or terrorist attack,” Stateline.org reported in 2007.

The federal government has worked for more than two decades to federalize and militarize local law enforcement and deploy troops under a number of bogus pretenses subsequently justified and even shamelessly glorified by the corporate media.

In Police State 2000, Alex Jones exposed the creeping militarization of police and the plan to establish martial law.
“Do we want, as a free people, with the notion of privacy enshrined in the Constitution and based on the very clear limits and defined role of government, to be in a society where not just the police, but the military are on the street corners gathering intelligence on citizens, sharing that data, manipulating that data?” asked former Rep. Bob Barr in 2005.
Since Barr made his comment, the Pentagon under NORTHCOM has integrated with local police and has consistently violated Posse Comitatus. The Department of Homeland Security has also facilitated the militarization of law enforcement.

NORTHCOM has planned for “low end” scenarios — including crowd-control missions — since at least 2005. “The plans present the Pentagon with a clearer idea of the kinds and numbers of troops and the training that may be required to build a more credible homeland defense force,” the Washington Post reported on August 8, 2010. As Fox reports, this mission now includes searching cars with dangerous x-ray machines.
“We have been inundated with reports over the last few weeks of uniformed soldiers and National Guardsmen running internal checkpoints all over the country as a frightening ‘Red Dawn’ scenario unfolds not with a bang but with a whimper,” Paul Jospeh Watson wrote on September 23, 2009. “The military are now being called upon to undertake roles normally designated to police as Americans are incrementally acclimated to accept the presence of troops on the streets as an everyday occurrence.”
In addition to numerous instances of the military working hand-in-hand with police around the country — from checkpoints to patrolling public events like the Boston Marathon and the Kentucky Derby — the military has concentrated on training soldiers to take on demonized militias and gun owners.

On July 3, 2009, Infowars.com reported on the Missouri National Guard is training to engage in combat with “militia” groups. News of the training mission followed the release of a leaked DHS report on “rightwing extremism” by four months.

Cops in New York working with the Pentagon in violation of Posse Comitatus is not about marijuana and the so-called drug war. It is about searching for weapons and intimidating the American people. As the economy deteriorates the police and military will attempt to disarm the American people.

In 2008, a report by the U.S. Army War College spelled out how the Pentagon plans to respond to civil unrest as the economy implodes. “Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” explains the War College report. International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn also predicted economy-related riots and unrest in response to the engineered Greatest Depression now unfolding.

The integration of police and military has taken a sizable leap with the activities in Albany, New York. In the weeks and months ahead, as the economy further crumbles, we can expect more brazen efforts to impose a militarized police state, not only in New York but around the country.

  1. The Boston Smoke Bomb HOAX was the COVER for this Martial Law Drill they needed, to gauge the effectiveness of LOCKING DOWN an entire American city and how the residents would respond. Predictably, the residents for the most part, were stupid SHEEP who actually PRAISED these Nazi Fucks for invading their city, as they hunted down the innocent Patsy Brothers like the Mindless Fascist Robots they have been trained to be....

These asshole Gestapo cops were obviously violating the Forth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which protects personal privacy, and every citizen's right to be free from unreasonable government intrusion into their persons, homes, businesses, and property -- whether through police stops of citizens on the street, arrests, or searches of homes and businesses. In the criminal law realm, Fourth Amendment "search and seizure" protections extend to:

A law enforcement officer's physical apprehension or "seizure" of a person, by way of a stop or arrest; and police searches of places and items in which an individual has a legitimate expectation of privacy – his or her person, clothing, purse, luggage, vehicle, house, apartment, hotel room, and place of business, to name a few examples.

The Fourth Amendment provides safeguards to individuals during searches and detentions, and prevents unlawfully seized items from being used as evidence in criminal cases. These cops should be sent to prison for this kind of abuse of power!

Martial Law is nothing to play around with. We're in a lot of trouble when our police start behaving like this, and this isn't brand-new in the U.S. Warrant-less searches are bullshit violations of our 4th amendment rights. And yet...we seem paralyzed to do anything to stop this.

America is the new Iraq they want to start a civil war just like the one they helped provoke in Iraq between Shiits and Sunnies except in America its going to be between ISIS and the Police; and this will further errode our civil liberties and this will distroy America further at the same time giving the Globalists an execuse to attack Syria. It will eventually lead to ww3 between the east and the west and the US will be distroyed in the process. The comming days will be very bad for the world we will see a thermonuclear war which they want and in the process the US be distroyed which they also want. They want to turn the world into the middle east.

Terrorists 1 Constitution 0. Using military tactics and gear have done more damage than the terrorists have hoped for. Just because the police panic and overreach their authority does not mean it is proper or legal. The end justifying the means is not a valid argument when it comes to the Constitution.

Cops are turning into thugs, and regular citizens are forced to protect and serve themselves from cops. I'm not even sure how cops can seriously think their upholding the law, when they are in fact breaking the law by violating our civil rights.

  2. The police NEVER lie, fabricate or plant evidence, destroy evidence, etc...

Never EVER open the door to the terrorist PD. Let them kick the door down. They have no warrant. They have no right to enter the property. Sue them later but NEVER EVER OPEN the door. Pretend you aren't home. It is entirely legal to ignore the police when the come to kick down your door.

I have seen these types of invasions before too. I have also seen the cops and firefighters "accidentally" letting just a few valuables fall into their pockets. They are not all honest people.

The sad thing is this happened on the aniversary of when the people of Massachusetts stood up against British tyranny.

this is how the nazi"s started in 1933,these americans even look like nazi stormtroopers-same helmets and attitude, see how theyve upgraded their firepower considerably, using miltary spec, automatic rifles, grenades and apc"s painted black, fully armoured hummers (in black of course),this is scarey shit folks, time is running out..this world is about to change beyond what we know now !!!!

Whoever authorized these actions upon American people are also terrorists.. This is how the Nazis trained the population.. GOD help us....

Coming to a city near you the way these police are now taught. All citizens need to be worried. Have you seen all the police brutality videos lately or the homicides they commit? We are losing our rights slowly so no one will realise what's happening. This use to be a free nation under God.

They are prepping to see how easily they can declare martial law on us and put us in internment camps. Good God. This Youtube makes me want to join a militia.

No wonder the FBI couldn't find the suspect, they spent their time patting down innocent civilians! Wealthiest country in the world and it took a civilian to find the suspect, LOL!.

  3. I have heard some say that Boston was a test of martial law to see how compliant the populace has become. II hope Boston has hundreds of violation of civil rights lawsuits coming and millions in damages to pay it's citizens so they don't want to (or can't afford) to do this again. "We're scared" is not a legitimate reason for suspension of your civil rights. I hope Bostonians don't let them slide because they were scared this time too. This is supposed to be the land of the brave people, what the hell has happened to youall? Please grow a spine and demand the rights my forefathers fought and died to secure for us or we'll all lose them.
It is disheartening to think that, if this were a test of compliance, we have scored a 'perfect' 100%.

bombing are a false flag and lies to take away your constitutional rights!!!!

I believe that martial law was in place without the police flat out saying it. And due to the Patriot Act, the cops can come into our homes whether we want them to or not.

Couldn't watch this in one sitting, had to stop and puke part of the way through. This is NOT the country I fought for.

More American citizens found guilty of the heinous crime of being in an inconvenient place. As a nice change of pace, the feds didn't shoot the dog this time. So kudos to them for that uncharacteristically good-natured act.

Yep, lockdown is a term used in prison for prisoners. But our prisons are already full of non-violent minor offenders. Those guys were lucky there were no guns visible, or innocent citizens would have been shot by those trigger-happy moron police. On the other hand, without our 2nd amendment, there's no hope for the others. If Americans would grow a pair, they'd have taken care of the bad guy themselves - or not let these pricks in their neighbourhood at all. One house - they easily overwhelm you - I know from personal experience due to a no-knock, no warrant "drug raid" - in which I had no guilt (and no drugs). But if everyone gave a s*** - it would be a little different. Maybe this is good as it might wake a few people up to just how bad it has become so quickly here.

More like intimidation and forced voluntary compliance...crazy

I am in no way condoning what the Boston Bombers did, but arguably this is far more damaging because it sets a precedent and makes a mockery of our protections against illegal search and seizure.

People need to remember all these police state illegal searches did nothing to find the person. In fact, the "lockdown" prolonged his freedom. If they had not illegally restricted people movement the man who found him would have went outside and seen his boat much earlier in the day.

As far as I can tell the "terrorists" as our government calls them, are winning. The billions in increased security to create new agencies did not stop the attack. The entire city under martial law did not capture the criminal, a citizen found him. Halting the economic activity of the entire city of Boston for a full day costs nearly $1 billion according to GDP statistics. How much did it cost to send soldiers through an American town? Probably in the millions.

And how much did the Boston bombings cost citizens? All of their privacy and dignity. Apparently, if a bomb goes off in America every single citizen in the vicinity is guilty until proven innocent and will be searched without reason, warrant, or causation.

The video linked here is one of many videos showing American citizens being pulled from their homes under HEAVY gunpoint.

If this is going to be our reaction to one bombing killing 3 in Boston, what kind of measures will our government take when we experience a larger attack?

No amount of money or security will make you safe enough. Only you make you safe. At this point in America it isn't enough to simply know Constitutional rights, you must UNDERSTAND them and why we have them.

Again, law enforcement did not stop the attack OR capture the criminals. At the FBIs own admission they needed help of citizens and at the same time declared martial law. Turns out a citizen alerted police to the first guy and to the second guy. City wide martial law did nothing but force innocent people in or out of their homes at gunpoint.

I want to see the video that the FBI claims convicts these two men before trial. They still called them suspects all throughout this incident. I never want to be simply labelled a suspect.

  5. The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

This is what tyranny looks like.

I asked for it and it was provided. Video proof that the cops in Watertown, MA were violating 4th Amendment rights of its citizens. The 4th Amendment was written specifically for these situations and they were ignored completely. Where does it end?

Remember everyone....this never happened. The cops didn't force their way into anyone's house, it was all voluntary. Remember it was all voluntary.

This is the face of "voluntarily compliance." A SWAT team surrounding your house, guns pointed at you, police dressed in paramilitary gear screaming orders at you, them rushing your house as you are dragged out.

A voluntary search does NOT have the police pointing guns at you and screaming at you.

doesn't look like there was anything 'voluntary' about it. Looks to me to be more of a case of Felony home invasion, kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon all committed by the officers.

A means to an end justifies forcible relinquishing of your civil liberties? If this is what we have come to then one must consider that the 'enemy' has a foot in the door with respect to redefining what has been proudly declared as a free society

These searches in Boston in Watertown were not all voluntary...Please share this info..http://youtu.be/2LrbsUVSVl8

Better to die on your feet than your knees.

Wait, so the members of this house were not guilty or suspected of anything, but they are forced to leave their own house?

"Law enforcement" intimidating people at gunpoint to let them enter and search their homes on Friday at Boston/Watertown. Spread the word of this injustice.

Ya that's what I want, some trigger happy cop ready to shoot someone pointing a gun at my family. Ill sleep better now, anyone who goes to a shooting range will notice the holes in the ceiling. Those are from cops playing cowboy trying to quickdraw, I've witness it along with a hole put in the floor at the counter paying. No thank you, I'll keep my 4th amendment.

  6. the reason they were doing this was to practice doing it nationwide TO TAKE YOUR GUNS

This is all carried out under the facade of "for everybody's safety". They can't just come out and say they want to shut down a town and perform home raids, they have to create a reason to do so. The "boston bombing" was a planned procedure to train on real life home raids.

    Amendment 3:
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

This is so disgusting to watch. Couldn't even get to the end. America is finished. I think we have just seen the birth of the Police State in America. This is very scary stuff, I wish more people saw it and understood the implications.

More Americans have died in their bathtubs than have been killed by terrorism, they use terrorism fear to justify the incoming police state. Land of the free? Not anymore, pay attention to the laws being passed and you realise that US citizens rights are dwindling all the time.

In '97 I was in Cuba when there was a bombing in a hotel. One Italian tourist was killed. In two or three days the terrorist - a Salvadoran - was arrested without a single shot, unharmed and with no violence at all. In more two or three days he was interviewed on TV. There were no scenes like that: no house-to-house raids and no Cuban had to leave his own house with hands up and under menace.

Anyone who still hasn't figured out that we are now living in a fascist, New World Order police state is living in a dream world! We're never gonna vote our way out of this either as ALL of our Presidential "elections" have been rigged for decades! Big Brother is now recording & saving EVERYTHING that EVERYONE says, writes or does & sooner or later it will be used against us all, even if U R guilty of nothing! Hitler took Germany down the same path in the 30's! America is 2 gullible & oblivious!

Idk if im alone here but have never been worried or feared terrorists, now the police and our government thats another story.

Everyone seems to forget that the police did not find the 2nd killer with these illegal searchs! A homeowner found him & turned him in...

Stop listening to the Media. They haven't told a remotely truthful story in years. Do your own research and start getting angry at the bitter truth of it all...

the 1900's progressive-socialist movements started the collapse of our individualist rights. Drugs were just a victim to progressive-socialist ideologies.

  7. what a shame. Freedom was born in this very area and has obviously died there as well. Goodbye Amerika.

I can't believe people stand for this. They'd have to shoot me. At least that way it might get some attention and they'd have to explain why they shot a home owner in his own house while attempting to execute an illegal search.

I wouldn't have answered the door. If you're not home, they'll go to the next house. They need a search warrant signed by a judge to enter you home.

So So Sad what U.S. citizen have to go through with this thug gov't. This has nothing to do w/a Boston bomber. This is a dress rehearsal for when the real sh*t hit the fan, which will be a lot more intense then this. In due time they'll be ordering ppl out of their homes loading them on to buses taking them to fema camps. GET READY PPL!!! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GIVE UP YOUR FREEDOM.

It's time for action. The terrorists ARE the government, they ARE the corporations who force people out of jobs? They ARE the bankers who force you from your homes...... People you enemy isn't overseas its here at home keeping you as a slave and treating you like one!

Outrageous. The occupants of the homes are additionally subject to a pat-down (seen on the footage above). on what suspicion, by what consent (the suspect isn't in their pockets!)? They're a human male or female, just like the bomber? That's enough reasonable suspicion. Welcome to your police-state. You have no rights.

Ok they were looking for a terrorist, they were scared too, but first, this is clearly not voluntary, second, why were they searching the people? Did they think the terrorist was hiding in someone's pocket?

You think a badge gives a man the right to swing a weapon in the defense of himself or others? Do I need a Nascar shirt to do +80 Mph? These guys aren't "Laying it on the line", like you so brazenly asserted. They are trampling the freedoms that make this country different from 1930's germany, and if you can't see that I hope someone like me comes along, and jams their thumb up your nose while they cut off circulation via your subclavians. Tough guy.

Right on - mI wonder what they would do if the homeowner said "No - this is my house and I am not leaving and you are not coming in! - I assert my rights under the 4th ammendment to the Constitution of the United States" - would they have shot the guy?

In the modern world privacy is an illusion and rights only belong to those in power. They destroyed the constitution long ago, and are doing their best the wash away all the fragments that remain. They have always known this was wrong, have done their best the hide it from view. This is why the county as a whole is just now learning about it. The criminals use the legal system to harm citizens and get away with it. Apparently so does our government. Books like Animal Farm and 1984 are no longer taught in schools. This is because instead of teaching the lesson of a dark world we want to avoid, or reflect upon some evil power that may exist in some other part of the world. They are more and more accurately depicting the modern society we live in today. So of course you cant open the eyes of our youth to the truth, and raise them to be sheep too.

The Stasi, the Gestapo, they were internal "security" agencies as well. In Russian, the words that make up the acronym KGB translate to the Committee for State Security. The DHS is based on the Stasi model actually.

"It's time to leave outright. Remember, millions of people got out in time when the National Socialist Workers Party came into power in Germany. Those who trusted the state did not"

the 'Public' seem to be quite happy to go along with 'Trial by Media', No "Due Process", "Guilty until proven Innocent", blah blah etc etc..If the masses are quite happy to get their whole 'version of reality' from the propaganda that is drip-fed to them 24/7 by the Corporate Media, including whether a person is guilty or innocent, well what sort of Society do you call that??? Certainly NOT a CIVILISED Society in any real sense of the word..

On the bright side ... showing their true colors helps you prepare for egress better when fascism gets in full swing.

Also if you think the government cares about the people (UK AND US) then you're a fool. They hold the people in contempt. You take up what they see as thier room. All they want to do is milk you of your money. The very idea they care about you or your well being is laughable. The police and military are just thier enforcers.

Totalitarian Fascist Collectivism! Once again, the Globalist Establishment Crime Syndicate has successfully demolished Civil Human Rights, by staging False Flag Terrorism. Most Americans didn't even even object. They cheer on fascist stormtroopers, just like the Germans did & gladly forfeit liberties to preserve "Freedom & Democracy".

Remember folks, only after this police state move was ended did the owner of the boat go outside to check on his property, and in so doing discover the suspect.

"Any state has a primary enemy: IT'S OWN POPULATION. If the population starts getting active all kinds of horrible things can happen - so you have to keep the population.. obedient and passive... International conflict is one of the best ways of doing it: if there's a big enemy around, people will ABANDON THEIR RIGHTS, because you've got to survive.." N.Chomsky
That is the WHOLE point of endless wars that CANNOT BE WON...
