Copenhagen Climate Treaty & Climategate

Enslavement By a New Copenhagen Protocol to the Climate Change Treaty

October 20, 2009

Worldview Times - Copenhagen is about to become the successor to Kyoto as the synonym for the U.N.’s plan to control climate change. The 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will meet in Copenhagen December 7-18. Until this meeting ends, expect to hear a growing number of climate-related horror stories, presented by a wide array of so-called environmentalists, at a rising decibel level that’s sure to drive the sane quite mad.
The UNFCCC was a voluntary treaty through which the United States agreed to voluntarily reduce carbon emissions in 1992. At the very first meeting of the COP in 1995, the delegates decided to add a “Protocol” to the treaty that would make specific emissions reduction targets set by the U.N. body legally binding on 34 developed nations. The U.S. Senate adopted a resolution instructing the Clinton administration to not participate in the Protocol unless it included all nations, or if it would have a negative impact on the U.S. economy.

At the third meeting of the COP in 1997 in Kyoto, Japan, the U.S. delegation followed the Senate’s instruction and refused to agree to the terms set for the United States by the U.N. body, because the developing nations refused to accept any reduction in their carbon emissions. The impasse lasted well into the second week of the meeting.

Then, Prince Albert Gore made his entrance. In a private meeting in his hotel suite, Gore negotiated a deal that completely ignored the Senate resolution, and agreed to accept a legally binding emissions reduction equal to 7% below 1990 levels by 2012, while agreeing to impose absolutely no requirements on developing nations. The Senate was steamed, and Clinton knew better than to transmit the Kyoto Protocol for ratification.

One of the two really good things that George W. Bush did was to withdraw from the Kyoto Protocol altogether. (The other good thing he did was to withdraw from the International Criminal Court).

The United Nations, Hollywood, environmental organizations, and most of the Democrats, squalled, bawled, cursed, and ridiculed “W” for his cavalier, go-it-alone, cowboy swagger. The Kyoto Protocol went into effect without the United States’ participation.

The Copenhagen meeting is supposed to produce the successor to the Kyoto Protocol, which will expire in 2012. This new agreement is supposed to set new emissions reductions targets, even more onerous than the Kyoto targets. The same arguments plague the negotiations leading up to the Copenhagen meeting that plagued negotiations in Kyoto: developing nations absolutely do not want any kind of reductions imposed upon them, while insisting that developed nations, especially the United States, be forced to drastically reduce carbon emissions.

Problem for Obama: he has as much as promised the world that the United States would rejoin the international climate change treaty – regardless of the cost. Apparently, he thought his promise, and his teleprompter, would be sufficient to persuade developing nations to join the party. So far, they haven’t. His ace-in-the-hole is his “Cap & Trade” bill that he wants signed before the Copenhagen meeting. If he gets his bill, he can tell the developing nations that the U.S. has already done its part, and that he will not sign the Copenhagen agreement unless the developing nations do. Of course, if he doesn’t get the Cap & Trade bill before Copenhagen, he may have to develop a new strategy.

Notice the absence of any discussion about the validity of climate change science or the need to control it? Climate change has nothing to do with the negotiations or the meetings, or the treaties. It never has. Climate change is simply an excuse to construct a monstrous international bureaucracy that meets many times each year in exotic venues around the world. Billions of dollars flow into and out of the climate change industry. No one involved in the climate change business wants to hear anything other than a new horror story to put the fear of catastrophe into appropriators.

Dissent is worse than a dirty word at these U.N. meetings. The actual meetings where negotiations occur are closed. Mercy be unto anyone caught with a tape recorder or video camera in an area other than a lobby of cafeteria, or when accompanied by a U.N. staff member. Literature may not be distributed unless first approved by the U.N. staff. In fact, ordinary people cannot even get into one of these meetings. Only official delegates of a government, approved representatives of accredited NGOs, or approved press professionals, can register.

Watch the momentum mount as the December meeting draws closer. Ice caps will melt faster, oceans will rise higher, droughts will be more severe, snow falls will be deeper, ice storms will be slicker, crops will fail more often, men will become impotent, and African pygmies will be recruited by the Boston Celtics – all because of climate change – with the only cure being enslavement by a new Copenhagen Protocol to the Climate Change Treaty.

Climate Treaty Will Create World Government Dictatorship

October 20, 2009

NoWorldSystem - The Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations will hold their 15th conference on climate change through December 7-18th. At the conference, globalists like Obama will sign the ‘Copenhagen Climate Change Treaty’ that will replace the Kyoto treaty that is set to expire in 2012.

Lord Christopher Monckton, the man who warned many this week of the treaty, appeared on the Glenn Beck radio program. He makes it clear that the treaty will create a World Government Dictatorship that will have complete authority over all nations by intervening in the economies and environment of any individual country in the world without consent. The treaty will also allow the distribution of wealth from developed countries like the U.S. to Third World Countries like Africa; in other words, taxpayer-funded socialist welfare! The reason why many believe Obama will sign this global treaty is because Obama has supported a global tax legislation, which would have given $845 billion of foreign aid to satisfy the United Nations’ goal of reducing poverty by 2015.

Here’s what it says about the distribution of wealth in the Copenhagen Treaty Draft:

17. [[Developed [and developing] countries] [Developed and developing country Parties] [All Parties] [shall] [should]:]

(a) Compensate for damage to the LDCs’ economy and also compensate for lost opportunities, resources, lives, land and dignity, as many will become environmental refugees;

(b) Africa, in the context of environmental justice, should be equitably compensated for environmental, social and economic losses arising from the implementation of response measures.

Meanwhile globalists like Brown are using fear of impending doom of climate change in order to pass the Copenhagen Treaty. He says: “The world is watching.” “We must make history.” “If we do not reach a deal at this time, let us be in no doubt: once the damage from unchecked emissions growth is done, no retrospective global agreement in some future period can undo that choice. By then it will be irretrievably too late. So we should never allow ourselves to lose sight of the catastrophe we face if present warming trends continue.”

Al Gore has said, ”This treaty must be negotiated this year. Not next year. This year.”

The creation of a New World Order has been in the works for decades; technically, America is already under the thumb of World Government in more ways than one. To understand what is about to take place in America, we have to understand what Agenda 21 is: it’s the blueprint for the New World Order agenda for the 21st century.

Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which humans impact the environment.

You can read the entire UN document here.

Excerpt: “Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced: a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals, and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level.”

The phrase ’sustainable development’ really means population control. When you think about a New World Order just think about the de-population of mankind, the enslavement of man, forcing humans into compact zones surrounded by protected wildlife where he is prohibited from entering, a socialist distribution of wealth, the complete centralization of all governments, and wealth in the hands of a few dictators in the United Nations. A total bureaucratic, technological slave-grid... in other words, hell on earth.

U.S. Constitution vs. U.N. Treaty

October 21, 2009

Infowars - Lord Monckton of England, who is a man-made global warming (MMGW) critic, recently made a speech regarding a climate change treaty (Copenhagen Treaty) which he believes Obama will sign at the UNFCCC in December 2009 (1). According to Lord Monckton, this treaty will subjugate America to Communist rule and will transfer American wealth to third world countries.

While Monckton is a hero for promoting truth about MMGW (and claims to have been involved in the funding of a lawsuit against showing Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” movie to British school children that resulted in a mandatory disclaimer of the movie when shown), Monckton has misunderstood a few facts about the Copenhagen Treaty.

Firstly, he has understated the necessity of getting into action now. The ’sleeping giant’ of the American masses must awaken now! (see the action list below). He also failed to mention that this IS Agenda 21 Sustainable Development being imposed in real time.

Secondly, he blames the proposed Communist One World Government upon those who “piled over the Berlin Wall,” when, in fact, the culpability lies squarely in the lap of the usual suspects - the bankers: this is a UN-inspired treaty and the global warming lies are based on the UN’s IPCC corrupt science (remember that the Rockefellers fund and design most UN programs). Also, the Rothschilds have set up a carbon credit banking scheme (2). Follow the money.

Lastly, Lord Monckton unfortunately mistated that treaties supersede the Constitution and that once Obama signs this treaty, there is no recourse against the treaty other than agreement in partisan between all 50 states. This is not true, as the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution, Article IV, paragraph 2, reads as follows:

“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the Supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.”
The Supremacy Clause has been misinterpreted and twisted to mean that treaties supersede the Constitution. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has a hand in accrediting schools; it’s no wonder that many “well educated” attorneys misinterpret the Constitution (3). It is also interesting to note that the Rockefellers have debased American education and history as outlined in G. Edward Griffin’s shocking interview with the late Senator, Norman Dodd: http://www.realityzone.com/hiddenagenda2.html.

As a result, the Supremacy Clause is misunderstood and has yet to be clearly defined, though many have tried to get a Supreme Court decision on this matter. Constitutional expert, former Sheriff Richard Mack, is emphatic that treaties are subservient to the Constitution and that many lawyers are misinformed.

Watch his short video explaining the Supremacy Clause:

Further proof that the Constitution outranks treaties can be extrapolated from the Supreme Court decision Reid v. Covert, which states, “This Court has regularly and uniformly recognized the supremacy of the Constitution over a treaty,” althought the ruling was applied to an executive agreement, not a treaty.

Knowledge about the global warming scam and our Constitution are the way out of this trap that has been set for us. It will be much easier to stop this treaty based on lies now, rather than later. The future is in your hands; it’s time to stand up for our country by doing the following:

1. E-mail Sheriff Mack’s video and this article to your family and friends.

2. Then e-mail the same to your National and State Legislators, including your Governor.

3. Share this information with everyone you know, especially attorneys.

4. Sign the petition to prevent Obama from signing away our country: http://www.globalwarmingscam.com/

Gordon Brown: No Plan B on Climate Change

October 19, 2009

Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister, warned that there is "no plan B on climate change" as he urged President Barack Obama to follow his lead and attend key talks in Copenhagen at the end of the year.

Telegraph - More than 190 countries are due to agree a deal to tackle global warming at the UN Climate Change Conference in December.

However at the moment the talks are at deadlock. Rich countries are refusing to sign up to legally-binding targets to cut carbon emissions, while poor countries will not take action until super powers like the US take the lead.

Mr Brown, who has said he will personally attend the talks to ensure a global deal, said other world leaders must do everything they can.

He has met up with President Obama and the President of China Hu Jintao recently to urge them to personally intervene in the talks.
“We must frankly face the plain fact that our negotiators are not getting to agreement quickly enough. So I believe that leaders must engage directly to break the impasse.

“We cannot compromise with the Earth,” he said.

“We cannot compromise with the catastrophe of unchecked climate change; so we must compromise with one another. ”
Mr Brown was speaking at the Major Economies Forum in London today, a gathering of ministers and officials from 17 countries to discuss the climate change negotiations.

He said the world faces “catastrophe” if temperatures are allowed to rise beyond a certain point, including thousands of deaths in Britain due to heat waves.

The UK Government wants rich countries including the US to sign up to cutting emissions by between 25 and 40 per cent by 2020, while also providing help to poorer countries to also take action.

Mr Brown said the world must stop uncontrollable climate change before it is “irretrievably too late” by cutting carbon emissions.
“We cannot afford to fail. If we act now; if we act together; if we act with vision and resolve, success at Copenhagen is still within our reach. But if we falter, the earth itself will be at risk,” he said.

“This is the moment. Now is the time. For the planet there is no plan B.”

Copenhagen Climate Change Talks Are Last Chance, Says Gordon Brown

There are now fewer than 50 days to set course of next 50 years and more, PM tells environment ministers from 17 countries responsible for 80% of greenhouse gas emissions

October 19, 2009

guardian.co.uk - Gordon Brown today warned that the world is on the brink of a "catastrophic" future of killer heatwaves, floods and droughts unless governments speed up negotiations on climate change before vital talks in Copenhagen in December.

This applies to the US as much as anyone, he said, adding that "there is no plan B," and that agreement cannot be deferred beyond the UN-sponsored Copenhagen conference.

There are fears that Barack Obama does not have the political capital to reach a deal in Copenhagen and will instead use a visit to China next month to reach a bilateral deal that circumvents the UN.

Downing Street is also concerned that there is no agreement on how to finance a climate change package in developing countries.

The prime minister delivered his warning to a meeting of environment ministers brought together under the umbrella of the Major Economies Forum. The 17 countries in the forum are responsible for 80% of greenhouse gas emissions.

Brown told them:
"In every era there are only one or two moments when nations come together and reach agreements that make history, because they change the course of history. Copenhagen must be such a time. There are now fewer than 50 days to set the course of the next 50 years and more.

"If we do not reach a deal at this time, let us be in no doubt: once the damage from unchecked emissions growth is done, no retrospective global agreement in some future period can undo that choice. By then it will be irretrievably too late."
Brown said that, according to estimates from the intergovernmental panel on climate change, an extra 1.8bn people – a quarter of the world's population – could be short of water by 2080 as a result of climate change. And the threat was not confined to people in the developing world, Brown said.
"The extraordinary summer heatwave of 2003 in Europe resulted in over 35,000 extra deaths. On current trends, such an event could become quite routine in Britain in just a few decades' time," he said.

"And within the lifetime of our children and grandchildren the intense temperatures of 2003 could become the average temperature experienced throughout much of Europe. In Britain we face the prospect of more frequent droughts and a rising wave of floods."
Brown said that he thought a deal at Copenhagen was possible. But negotiators were "not getting to agreement quickly enough," Brown went on, which was why he was appealing for leaders to get involved personally.
"We cannot compromise with the earth, we cannot compromise with the catastrophe of unchecked climate change, so we must compromise with one another," he said.

"I urge my fellow leaders to work together to reach agreement amongst us, recognising both our common and our differentiated responsibilities – and the dire consequences of failure."
Ed Miliband, the climate change secretary, yesterday highlighted signs of movement, pointing out that last month India said it was ready to set itself non-binding targets for cutting carbon emissions, while China said it would curb the growth of its emissions by a "notable margin" by 2020, although it did not specify further.

The US special envoy for climate change, Todd Stern, said developing economies must boost their efforts to curb emissions, warning it was "certainly possible" that no deal would be agreed in Copenhagen. "What we need to have happen is for China and India and Brazil and South Africa and others to be willing to take what they're doing, boost it up some, and then be willing to put it into an international agreement," he said.

Obama Poised to Cede U.S. Sovereignty

October 19, 2009

OfficialWire - On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

Lord Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate, to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering nine serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educate the public about the myth of global warming.

There has been considerable debate raised about Monckton’s conclusion that the Copenhagen Treaty would cede U.S. sovereignty. His comments appear to be based upon his interpretation of the The Supremacy Clause in the U.S. Constitution (Article VI, paragraph 2). This clause establishes the Constitution, Federal Statutes, and U.S. TREATIES as the supreme law of the land.

Concerns have been raised in the past that a particularly ambitious treaty may supersede the U.S. Constitution. In the 1950s, a constitutional amendment, known as the Bricker Amendment, was proposed in response to such fears, but it failed to pass.

You can read more about the Bricker Amendment in a 1953 Time Magazine article.
