Thousands in France Take to the Streets--Here's Why
May 22, 2011Grant Lawrence - France will soon be hosting a G-8 Summit.
Thousands of people in the city of Le Havre, the site of the summit, recently took to the streets.
...Less than 10 days before the summit of the group of eight industrialized countries, several thousands of people marched peacefully in the streets of Le Havre on Saturday, carrying banners which read "Put People First, Not Finance. G-8 Out!"People the world over are fed up with disaster capitalism. In Spain, the people have been in the streets protesting the destruction of their economy and lives by the Elite that prey on them.
The march, which would be followed by speeches and a concert, was organized by associations, unions and left wing political parties, AP reported.

Many have warned that people would not allow their wealth and their countries to be over run by financial and banking interests. But financial power controls puppet politicians and governmental structures. So instead of the governments of Europe and the US supporting the people, as you would expect from so called "Democracies", these governments use their power to protect and promote financial interests.
Democracy is simply bought and paid for by the people that create the money. They own much of the world while stealing the wealth and resources from nearly all of the world.
People are merely resources, like trees, rocks, oil, and other things to be used and exploited.
Protestors in Greece, Spain, and throughout Europe are demanding that the dignity of the human being and their fundamental rights be respected over money and the interests of an elite few.
What is shaping up the world over is that people are taking a stand for Justice. Eco-Justice, Social and Political Justice, Economic Justice have all one thing in common: They are movements confronting fascism, corporatism, and the Elite power structure that spread their poison throughout the world.
