Will U.S. Troops Fire on the Citizens of This Nation?
Military Coup in America? Arab Spring Turns to American Summer?
Erik Prince, Blackwater's founder, has insisted that the private security force he hires for the UAE include no Muslims, because they "could not be counted on to kill fellow Muslims." The question to ask ourselves, 'Will the U.S. military and others with government badges fire on Americans?'.May 22, 2011
Colonel6's Blog - ...Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to be with members of all branches of the military...Many people think that the military is a bunch of blood thirsty marginal sociopaths just waiting to kill somebody, anybody. Nothing could be further from the truth. The military is like the fire department: they don’t want to see lives and property lost in fires. However, they are prepared to do what they can to stop in an aggressive manner. I think that is a very good analogy.
As you can imagine, the undeclared and illegal acts of aggression being engaged in by the US military in Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq have been the impetus of some very deep discussions. We are of all ranks. We have many years of experience. Some with more than others. The one common factor is at least two combat tours.
History has shown that empires and democracies have lasted an average of 200 years. The grand experiment called America has limped forward on mostly borrowed time. That fact coupled with the aforementioned problems make for a perfect storm that would produce the imposition of martial law. That is when you will come to know when the bullet hits the bone.
If (and I use that very liberally) martial law is declared under the conditions that exist today and no doubt will be worse at the time of imposition of such action, I see the inevitable happening.

(Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).
Officer Oath
“I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God.”
Not a mention of the President of the United States in the officers oath.
What is understood need not be discussed.
