Zionism and the End Times

It is assumed by a large proportion of evangelicals in Britain and America that being biblical is synonumous with being pro-Israeli. Dale Crowley, a Washington based religious broadcaster, however, describes this movement as the ‘fastest growing cult in America’: ‘It’s not composed of “crazies” so much as mainstream, middle to upper-middle class Americans. They give millions of dollars each week – to the TV evangelists who expound the fundamentals of the cult. They read Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye. They have one goal: to facilitate God’s hand to waft them up to heaven free from all the trouble, from where they will watch Armageddon and the destruction of planet earth. - Stephen Sizer, Christian Zionism: Misguided Millennialism, May 20, 2003

Christian Zionists who use religious rhetoric to justify political and military actions are no better than Jewish or Islamic fundamentalists who make similar outlandish claims. Peace in the Middle East should be about the liberty, independence and freedoms of all the people of the region, and not about who is entitled to the promised land. For the time being, I, as a Christian Palestinian, prefer to follow the words of Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the sons of God.” The very core of the Christian faith is the sincere belief and acknowledgment that Jesus of Nazareth rose from the dead, is the Messaiah of Old Testament prophecy, and will return again. This is the signal, and all the rest is noise. The purest example of evangelism, Christian conversion and acceptance by God is the thief on the cross next to Jesus: there is no tearful repentance, no confession of sin, certainly no political position — he simply says that he believes Jesus is who Jesus claimed to be — Messaiah who would rule an absolute ‘kingdom’ one day. - Daoud Kuttab, Christian Zionists and False Prophets, August 14, 2006

ONE OF THE TWO THIEVES ON THE CROSS NEXT TO CHRIST
RECEIVED THE GIFT OF FAITH

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary,
There they crucified Him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand,
And the other on the left.

Then said Jesus, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."

And they parted His raiment and cast lots. And the people stood beholding.
And the rulers also with them derided Him, saying,
He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He be Christ, the chosen of God.
And the soldiers also mocked Him,
Coming to Him, and offering Him vinegar, and saying,
If Thou be the king of the Jews, save Thyself.
And a superscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek and Latin and Hebrew,
THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on Him, saying,
If Thou be Christ, save Thyself and us.

But the other answering rebuked him, saying,
Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds:
But this man hath done nothing amiss.
And he said unto Jesus,
Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Thy kingdom.

And Jesus said unto him,
"Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise."

--Luke 23:33-43

America is Now Controlled by ‘Enemies Inside Its Gates’

YouTube - The collapses of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre, on September 11, 2001, were the most frightening images that I have ever seen, up until May 24th, 2011, when Binyamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of the United States Congress and received 29 standing ovations, along with many other outbursts of sycophantic applause.

It was the final nail in a coffin, the construction of which began long ago, and in it all remaining vestiges of democracy were joyfully laid to rest—by those sworn to protect it—as it became clear that the United States was now controlled by Enemies Inside its Gates.

Christian Zionism: Misguided Millennialism (Excerpt)

“The purpose of this book is to warn about a rapidly expanding new movement in the Church that is subtly introducing the same errors that eventually and inevitably led to centuries of atrocities against the Jews and culminated in the Holocaust of the Third Reich... They are setting up a philosophical system that will result in anti-Semitism.” - The Final Battle (Palos Verdes, California, Western Front, 1995), back page & p. 3.

Stephen Sizer - In his controversial book, Road to Holocaust, Hal Lindsey equates those who reject dispensationalism with the Nazis because, from his perspective, both deny the Jews any separate identity or future destiny within the purposes of God. In the previous two presentations we have examined the historical roots and theological basis for Christian Zionism. Tonight I want to present its political consequences.
Christian Zionists are implacably opposed to the present Road Map to peace in the Middle East. I want to show how they may be contributing to the very holocaust in the Middle East which they predict.

We are going to examine six ways in which Christian Zionist theology has been translated into political action: This outline illustrates the correlation between its distinctive doctrines and political agenda.
